The broken

a little too much

i woke up to sun warming my face with its morning smile and to the morning chills breathe against my quivering body .. 'wait where am i again '

ruby's POV

I turned my head and found the face of might i say the god of hot men . his skin matched the glow of the sun too well . his closed lips looked almost irresistable and bits of his gold hair fell upon his face i swear he looked like he belonged on those men model magazines ... not that i have seen any of them ... maybe . At that moment i noticed his golden eyes shimering as they looked into my own .. WAIT HIS EYES . i could feel blush creep up my neck and burn on my cheeks when i realised that he had caught me red-handed perving on him while he slept .

While i was busy punching my self mentally i didnt seem to notice his face inching closer to mine and by the time i did notice, he was now only a breath away from my lips . "EEEEHHHHHH"I shrieked as i jumped backwards now how did i manage to jump backwards i have no idea but i regretted it the moment i did this because i landed ass first into the fireplace which i was lucky because it had put itself out but the sticks didnt seem to help as thay pierced my booty 'OUCH ' . This was soo embarrassing and painful that i couldnt help but look at aurum's reaction but i didnt need to worry because he didnt see me he was too busy kissing the sandy floor hahahah ... or was he stuck despite how funny it was watching him try to get his head unstuck i stood up and walked over to help

after we settled down we started to talk about our way out of her "so can you fly "i asked hoping he couldnt hear the desperation in my voice , but i guess he did because the moment i said it a frown started forming on his face "uh..um not that we need to rush im just wondering since i haven't had a shower and im kind of ... lacking clothing "i tried to not sound too embarrassed but i probably failed because he looked away "dont worry my wings have been cured i was just waiting for when you were ready to go ... just in case you wanted to stay a little longer "Aurum said as he lifted his head while giving me one of those million dollar smiles for a moment i actually considered staying here with him for abit but as i looked down in embarrassment i saw the shorts and straight away derrick came to my mind the man who saved my life , who gave me shelter and clothing and the man who is destined to become my mate i wonder if he is searching for me ? i thought to myself .

I looked at our surrounding until my gaze rested on the fireplace reminding me of how warm and at home i felt when aurum had wrapped his warm arms around my body and the strong connection i fet towards him the moment we met now here was the immortal who gave up his meaning in life just to be by my side , he had even cured my brother when he was so close to death 'as these thoughts raced through my mind i focused my attention on aurum who layed on the sand his gaze wandering the skies , he is here because of me and i was too busy trying to run to another man when aurum needed my help just the same . i stood up and walked over to Aurum , i then layed down on the spot next to him gazing the skies with him "aurum " he turned his face towards me "thankyou  .. well for everything "i said gently as i reached for his hand and locked fingers with him , this feeling was nice .. it really is .
