The broken

free fall

there was darkness everywhere except for the sound of a heart beat * thump thump * and all of a sudden something started to fill my body and it felt great this thing was POWER!!.....

Ruby's POV

i opened my eyes seconds as i was about to touch the water but i never fell in no instead i was running on it , it was so hard to explain all i could say was that i was flying on water .My feet barely brushing the surface of the ocean ,i was heading towards a shape in the distant which i was guessing was a island afterall im not sure what this power was and how long it was gonna last and i didnt want to know what happened after it ran out because im not much of a swimmer more like a drowner !.

i ran and as i was images started flying through my head , there was one where me and my friends were dolled up and taking a picture for christmas we were all dressed up as reindeers and although we looked ridiculous yet hot we still smiled happy pure smiles, the next image was me on the floor hugging my brother while crying into his chest after he nearly fell off a cliff to catch me who had leaned over the edge of the rails abit too much , this made me cry happy tears but the next images werent so happy .The first one was me running through a group of my use-to-be friends while they glared at me hatefully these were the same friends that i had taken a picture with on christmas although that didnt break my heart as much as the next image which was me on the floor tears falling down my reddened cheek that had been slapped by my brother who now stood above me staring down at me with hate burning in his eyes.

I felt anger start to travel at a rapid pace through my body pushing it to its limit which made my running increase ALOT!  . At first i was glad until i realised that the island shore was coming into sight way too fast and the sharp jagged edges screamed at me to stop but i couldnt i didnt know how to .My speed had slowed abit down but i was still going way too fast for me to say i was safe and before i knew it the sharp jagged rocks were already infront of me , i closed my eyes accepting my gruseome fate and then *SLAM* .

My whole front hurt but not as much as i thought it would , i opened my eyes and held back a cry ,there lying ontop of me was the golden angel his golden eyes starring down at me "are you ok " i was shocked by the question but somehow managed to answer "i .. uh ..um yeah im fine "His face turned from serious to happy and tears started to fall from his eyes "im glad i really am ..i.i.i. thought i was gonna lose you "and with that he collapsed on his side .For awhile i just layed there until i felt something drop onto my face i use my hand to smear it off finding red stuff all over it and thats when it  all of a sudden made sense to me.

I wondered why i wasnt scratched at all thats because i never hit the the rocks instead the angel had grabbed me at the last second and instead he got his back smashed into the rocks that explains the blood on the rocks and thats probably why he collaps....OH NO !!. I scrambled to my feet and launched myself across the ground to where his body lay there i got a better view of his back and just as expected it was cut all over yet still he was breathing but that wont last long unless it gets patched up .As i looked around for something to use all i could find was sand , rocks and small leaves which couldnt help me at all so i did the only thing i could,  i ripped my singlet off ..
