Friend or Foe

i was soo close .. so close to bringing death to another person but was i doing the right thing ?..

Derrick's POV

i knew that i was slowly slipping out of consciousness but i forced my eyes open only to have my eyes met by green eyes yet these weren't the ones i was hoping to find .This one belonged to a male his eyes burning with pain and hatred and in his hands was a large rock raised above his head as he stood over my body .I didn't want to die right now i just wanted to hold ruby's frail delicate body in my arms once more , to hear her heartbeat , to smell her beautiful scent and to see those lovely green eyes yet here i was death only seconds away .

Jason's POV

Everything was in place he was knocked out on the floor , i had my large rock and i was just standing over him now all i had to do was smash the rock against his head and it would be all over but for some reason i couldnt do it . Its like somewhere at the back of my mind someone was telling me that if i kill him i will regret it later yet it wasnt a threat but more like a silent warning .My arms were aching , my brain was drowning with thoughts , i had no idea what i was going to do so i just stood there when all of a sudden the mans eyes slowly opened and his eyes were nothing like the ones i had imagined my sisters kidnapper looked like , his eyes were filled with sadness and love not hatred or evilness.

In that moment my arms gave way and the rock fell at of my hands falling towards the mans motionless body , i stepped forward reaching for the rock and succeeded in catching it but the weight of the rock pulled me down and before my eyes i watched as my face collided with rock as it hit the hard ground. Not long after my body was starting to slowly come to , i could hear someone whispering it sounded like a mans voice my eyes opened and was greeted by a bright shine of sunlight . "Oh so your awake " .

I scanned around me , i was on a soft bed yet still had my arms tied together , there was something cold on my forehead then there he was the man i had tried to kill , he was in a chair staring at me with interest " You know you are very .. um .. whats the word .. oh yes different ", i couldnt help but feel like he was trying to tease me about something " oh really and why is that " i said anger dancing on the end of my tongue , he snickered "well i have never seen someone try to kill me then save me and then knock them selves out .. i had to admit it was quite a show heheh" thats all i needed to boost me up .All of a sudden the ropes that bonded my hands together were nothing more than thin straws as i snapped them in a single second and in the next second i had my large hands wrapped around the mans neck ready to snap them just as easy as the ropes "woah calm down big guy i was just making a point and besides you cant kill me just yet " i couldnt help but grin who does this guy think he is "oh really explain " he just smiled and said "because we are gonna need each others help if we plan on saving my mate and your sister "....

haha yes they are finally going to work together now all we need to wait for is if they save her or will she always be in the arms of this angel well we wont know till next week hehe hope you enjoy this chapter guys ok luv ya bye xoxox
