they were yelling at each other while i desolated myself inside my room. too scared to come out

he was drunk,
didn't know what he was doing.

a punch was thrown, sending him falling.

i tried to make it stop but got a bruise on my thigh, said he was sorry but i flee away in horror.

knock knock

"rae, can i come in?" it was jimin
"s-sure jimin.."

he sat on my bed
eyes on the floor
and a cut on his lip, i saw.

"i'm sorry."
"i didn't mean–"
he cried

i sat on his lap and hugged him deeply,
he did the same.

tears were soaking my neck
i inhaled his scent, which smelled of beer and mint.

"stop crying." but he didn't

"i deserve the beating from tae, i deserve that."
"s-stop.."

he hugged me tighter,
he felt calm.
such a kid sometimes

i smiled to myself, "he fell asleep."

light snores tickled me
not daring to move
we laid in bed
