10 days later (Wedding, after merge, disaster day)

Gabby finally after what felt like hours got the door unlocked. She had been trapped in the closet so she wouldn't turn her back on the Mystic Falls gang. Her dress was ruined but she just wanted to at least hold Kai's body.

She drove down to the ceremony as it was pitch black. She noticed the thousands of screams and the darkness of the place. She stepped inside walking down the hallway. She opened the door to the cermony and saw nothing but blood. The dried up blood bit her nose before she heard a loud bang onto the wall.

She noticed Bonnie fall onto the ground holding her stomach. Damon immediately flew to her side. Gabby wanted to move but it felt as if she would die if she did.

All of the sudden she spotted Kai on the alter with a black suit on. He looked as he did the last time she seen him except his hair a little longer and a mustache. He didn't see her as he was focused on Bonnie and Damon.

Gabby wanted to stop him as she noticed the bodies laid everywhere. "Gabby?"Damon called out looking her way. Her eyes widen as Kai stopped in his steps. His smirk dropped as he froze. Gabby stood frozen in fear. Nice going Damon.

Kai turned to the the place Damon and Bonnie were looking seeing a scared Gabby. Within seconds Kai appeared blood everywhere. His lips parted and his eyes shocked. "Y-You're here."He mumbles out grabbing her shoulders.

Gabby looks around her seeing the destruction that she knew was caused by Kai Parker. "You killed all these people?"She asked softly not able to meet his eyes. Bonnie was carried off by Damon within a flash leaving Gabby with the psychopath.

"I thought you were dead."He slid his thumb down her teary face.

"I was dead. I've been dead for 18 years until Bonnie helped me escape from your prision world. I was going to come to see Jo get married but Damon locked me in the closet. I came to see her do everything that I wished to happen to me. It was all taken away on May 12, 1994 when your dad stuck a needle in my neck. I'm not mad or anything....... I-I was so happy for Jo. She was having babies for god sake. H-How could you?"She asked her eyes finally meeting his at the end.

He was silent. He just wanted her. That was it. "Gabb-"He started but she shook her head placing her small hands on his chest.

"Don't press me on revenge. I felt so angry at your father for killing me but I learned to accept it. I knew that if I stayed alive. I would of went back to you like I always did. One thing that I know for sure is that I could never let you go entirely. I've always loved you Kai, and I always will but I can't be with you. I don't even know who you are. You kill people all for the one thing you care about, power."Gabby bit her lip as tears fell.

"Gabby, you don't understand. I came back for you. My dad had your ashes in a vase on a shelf in his living room. All I thought about in 1994 was you. I wondered about you finally getting your wish of being a loving wife and mother. I wondered if you forgot about me."He frowned tears running down his face.

Gabby stepped back from his embrace her heart beating faster than it ever had before she died. "I have to go. You got all you wanted."She gave him a small smile before walking away. "No! Gabby."Kai called out following her as the click of her heels got heavier.

"I didn't think about Jo having what you always wanted when I came back and I'm sorry. I know killing my whole coven was a messed up thing to do but they took you away from me. You are all I ever wanted, Gab. Come on, you can't leave me again. I love you."Gabby stopped at his last sentence.

"Kai, I really want to believe you, but you don't know how to. You never did."She cried before walking away. This time he didn't follow her as she left the wedding. She didn't mean for Jo and the Gemini Coven to die.

She was never close to Jo but Jo wasn't meant to just die. She knew how it felt to have her future taken away from her. She didn't wish for Kai to die either. He wasn't what she remembered. He was cruel; she couldn't imagine the look in his eyes when he took away the hope of the poor innocent souls.

She didn't believe anyone deserves to die. She knew what it felt like to die and her past as a ghost wasn't so glorious either. She headed to the Salvatore Boarding house not quite happy with Damon leaving her with him.

"I need a favor."She opened thd door to the living room filled with angry people. "And what could that be?"Damon asked with a glass of bourbon in his hand.

"I need to be compelled to forget about Kai. I want to leave this whole supernatural mess behind."She answered. Everyone gave her blank looks except Bonnie. "You can't just compell your life away."She replied but the look on her face said otherwise.

"Here is my magic. I had a long walk here and I've made up my mind. Send me away please. I don't want history to repeat. I just got back."She begged holding up a pager.

"You put your magic in a pager?"Damon asked. "What happened? Why would you want this?"Bonnie asked. "It's what's best. Please, Stefan, compell me."Gabby asked Stefan with pleading eyes.

"You're a cool person. You could always stay here."He suggested not wanting her to just go. He felt sorry for her. She was a good person. "Care? Please?"Gab begged turning to the blond.

"If the little witchy woo wants to go. I say why not? The weasel deserves it afterall."Damon smirked slurring some of his words. "Wait Dam-"Bonnie yelled before he grabbed onto her shoulders.

"You will forget about your past. You came from California and has graduated with a psychology major and hope to find a nice town to be a therapist. You will never return nor will you ever try to recall your past."Damon smirked before everything went blank.
