Mystic Falls

Damon walked into the house followed by Elena and Kai. "Why isn't he dead?"Bonnie asked as they stepped into the living room. Kai simply rolled his eyes at the Bennett Witch before looking at Delena.

"Change of plans. He let her go. We either bring him with us back home or let him stay in New York long enough to change his mind."Damon smirked like they came up with the best plan. "Well, I have to go meet up with Alaric so I'm just gonna go."Bonnie got up from her seat next to Stefan who was texting away.

"What's up with him? He never comes to Mystic Falls anymore."Damon asked her as she walked past Kai. "He's not approving of seeing the man who killed his family."She simply replied before slamming the door as she left.

"God, I'm going to be late for school."Elena looked at the time on her phone. "I'll drop you off."Damon smirked as she vampire speeded to their room. "No thanks, I have a shift at the hospital afterwards."She yelled down getting ready.

"So I guess it's just me and you and your broken cold dead heart."Damon smirked placing a hand on the silent Kai's shoulder. "I'm going to the bar."Kai simply responded dropping his suitcase in his room before speeding out the door.

"Well, Stefan. Mind telling me why you are typing away?"Damon sat down next to Stefan who only stayed silent. "How is she?"Stefan asked finally looking away from his phone.

"Who? Elena? She's fine. Just in a bit of a rush."Damon replied kicking off his shoes. "No, Gabby. How is she?"Stefan asked. "The same as she always been except happier. Kai had let her go so I guess she's going live the rest of her compelled days in New York with his twin."Damon shrugged.

"What's so special about Kai? How is she drawn to another version of him?"Stefan asked quite confused with the whole situation. "Maybe it's fate or maybe it's because that's all she knew. They did grow up together die or almost died together. I mean hey, you can't blame her."Damon smirked.

Alaric's Apartment

"You said what? Alaric, you sound crazy right now!"Bonnie whispered yelled. "It's her, Bonnie. She's back."Alaric smiled. "No, no, no. You can't just bring someone back from the dead. How do you know she's not possessed or something? What witch did this for you?"She asked looking through the cracked door.

"I have my sources. Look, I can't go on without Jo. She's back from the dead and so are our kids. This is my chance. Kai is dead now right?"Alaric asked smiling huge.

"Actually no. He let Gabby go and they decided to drag him back here. He's still shit faced heart broken."She replied. His face dropped, "Oh". Bonnie nodded before walking into the living room seeing Jo casually watching tv.

"I hope I don't freak you out for returning."Jo smiled as she seen them walk in. "Well, I have died plenty of times before so I can manage."Bonnie smiled back. Bonnie felt at lost for words that Josette was indeed back from the dead yet magic-less. She was also very distant as she could recall an eternal darkness that flooded her after her death. It was a question if whether or not she was still pregnant although Alaric was beyond happy with just her.

Mystic Grill

"So can I? Can I stay with you guys for a while?" Kai asked Matt as he took a sip at his Whiskey. Matt wiped off the table still heisitant. "What's your deal? Who you running from?" Matt asked. "I'm in no trouble. I just need to get away from anything that reminds me of Gabby." Matt only rose his eyebrow. "You're that Psychopath aren't you?" Matt confronted in a whisper-like tone. Kai nodded taking another sip. "I lost my fun in magic. I use it to find the remote or to entertain myself. I have all this power but not her. She chose my twin brother over me! Can you believe it? 30 years of a relationship over some sane version of me."

Matt only shook his head. "Hey, Matty."A feminine voice called out. Matt immediately smirked turning his head. "Hey, Brianna." Kai looked over seeing two girls one who was giving him flirty eyes while the other with blonde hair looked out a place. Kai couldn't ignore the beauty that was radiating off of the other who wasn't even trying to receive any attention.

"Who's your friend? He's quite the looker, right Carrie?" Carrie looked up following her friend's eyes before capturing his handsome looks. Carrie only swallowed and shrugged her shoulders looking away almost immediately. "He's alright."She replied earning a smirk from Kai. "Well, this is Carrie my best friend. She's single. Hasn't been laid in months."Brianna smirked earning a glare from Carrie.

"Don't mind her, she's...a lot."Carrie rolled her eyes earning a chuckle from Matt and Kai. "Well, this is my friend Kai Parker. He's just got out of a breakup and hasn't been laid in ages."Matt smirked as Kai nearly chocked on his drink. "Perfect. Why don't you non-bedders get to know each other." Brianna laughed along with Matt.

"Well I sure as hell don't mind if she wants too."Kai smirked finding his cheeky self come back as he found himself in the idea of fun.

"So we taking this back to my place or.."Kai trailed off as Carrie stopped in the darkness leaving the protection of the street light. She sighed and rolled her eyes at the one guy who couldn't take a hint. "How about you just get lost before I do something you'll regret". Her eyes glowed a golden brown as she felt her stomach grumble.

"No need to be bitch."Kai scoffed before being slammed into the wall. She smirked as she silently starred into the asshat's eyes showing her fangs. Instead of shrieking in fear like she expected and wanted he burst out laughing. Her desire for blood and gore switched to confusion as his scent of alcohol and mint hit her face. Kai only smirked at the blonde. "I guess you expected screams instead of fangs." She stepped back biting her lip as he showed her his vampire form.

"Well, yes quite unexpected. Maybe you are a vampire but I'm a hybrid so... this makes it still a little easy to have some real fun." She stopped and smirked. "Part werewolf and Vampire. I think it's best if you run now. I love the chase."

Kai only stood there for a minute finding the look in her eyes and the expression on her face soothing, more like familiar. Kai looked down letting out a chant almost inaudible. Carrie began to almost immediately crouch down in pain as her brain began to burst. "Unfortunately for you, I'm a hybrid sort of myself. I happened to be part witch and vampire." He grins.

"You just got ten times hotter."Carrie recovered smiling to herself before whooshing in front of him. Kai began to smirk before Carrie leaned in roughly attacking her lips to his. Her hands found their way under his shirt rubbing quite teasingly over his abs. Kai only kissed back with the same intense feeling finding her quite attractive even more than ever. They stood there for a couple of moments his tongue finding dominance in her mouth before she stopped. She bit her puffy red lips before grabbing Kai's hand whooshing him all the way to her place.
