Ashley was thinking , thinking, thinking, and thinking and she still didn't know what to decide. She knew she had two possibilities or options, but she also knew that one of them involved her father's death and suffering. Ashley was very concern of what ups and downs could happen because of her maybe not so reasonable decision. Ashley then realized that the witch was sort of watching, nitpicking, or analyzing her in a way that she never expected to occur. The witch was observing her in a way that kind of look like she actually cared or loved Ashley like a real mother, however that moment took just a brief second because suddenly the witch turned physical appearances and seemed to have transformed in a very huge snake about to or ready to eat its next victim. Ashley knew that if she moved just a slice movement she had the possibility to get hurt or even die! Ashley was very surprised when she turned into the witch herself like she appeared to be before. Ashley stayed there as if she was a solid statue or something because of what had happened. Finally, Ashley took care of all of her doubts and concerns; she then decided that she would let the witch take her away because she knew that if she decided to do the other option she would've put her whole family in danger.

She then told the witch and she responded in a very pleasant and unexpected way and said the following " Oh my dear child of mine, you have decided to do the right thing and if you notice that if you choose the right thing, I will do no harm and nobody gets hurt." After,she then gave Ashley a gentle hug ready to go out the door and finally leave. Ashley then wanted to know where she went and followed her, but when she noticed that the witch finally got to her destination. Ashley notice something never before would have she imagined to see with her own eyes a place so disturbing and unpleasant that she almost felt like literally killing herself for so much pain in her eyes.
