You cautiously roamed around the hundreds of bookshelves in the library.  Your eye on one thing aside from all the things that would normally catch your attention.

You took deep breathes and finally walked up to the counter.  "Hi, can you help me find a book?"

He pushed up his glasses to see you clearer, "Sure of course."

He waited for your reply but you were too busy staring at him.

"Oh," you stammered.  "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society."

He seemed impressed, "Wow, that's a hard book."

You smiled, "I read it years ago and yeah it was pretty hard.  I wanted to read it again to see how I'd do."

"That's great!" he laughed.  "Just so happens it was in the return cart."

"Oh good.."

"Library card?"

You handed him your card.  "I'm y/n by the way."

"Yeah," he cleared his throat.  "I've seen you at school."

You stuttered and blushed, "Really?"

He puts his hand out, "Of course, I'm Lucky Blue."

You shook his hand, "Great to meet you."

Lucky gave you the book, "Here you go."

"Thank you Lucky."

"You're welcome, come back anytime."

You grinned, "Yeah you'll definitely see me around."

Lucky chuckled, "Awesome."

You can do this.

"Yeah what time do you get off?  Maybe I can swing by and we can get some coffee..if you want."

Lucky's smile grew which gave you slight relief.  "Yeah I would love that.  I work on weekends, so around eleven."

You gave him a thumbs up, "Okay I'll be here on Saturday."

"Great!"

"See you later, Lucky."

"Goodbye y/n."
