"Just because something ends," his voice crackled over the old tv, "Doesn't mean it wasn't the most amazing thing in your life."

You tried so hard not to cry.

"Look me in the eye and tell me that you love me." he continued.

"I love you." your voice was weak, shaky, and quiet.

Lucky looked so much more yellow on screen. The old filter of the tv made him look like he was sent to the 70's.

"Y/n you are effortlessly beautiful," he scoffed, "I don't know how I got so lucky with you."

You both smiled at the same time. "No pun intended!" he exclaimed.

The video went on to show clips of you, of him driving, or random moments in nature.

"Y/n," another scene changed.  "I think you're pretty cool..you're cool and you have great taste in music!" he laughed, "I mean can it get any better?"

"On a more serious note, I just--you have been with me since the beginning.  Thick and thin, ups and downs, good and bad times with you...has been the best time I've had."

No matter how many times you watched this video, you react just like the first time.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is," he grinned, "I want to spend the rest of my life you, babe."

The video cuts off there because after he said that, he was supposed to walk in and ask you the question.

You fell down to your knees and sobbed.  Your body trembled out of fear even though what's done is done, and you already know he's gone.

But you relive that moment, over and over again.

You crawled to the dvr to take out the tape, then you saw writing on it.

don't worry babe, stay golden ;)
