I reached down to pet the cat, feeling it's soft fur, and admiring its beautiful whiskers.

Then I heard my self scream.

I was running once again, I don't normally run this much, But this was important. As I was running I saw black paws instead of feet. I wasn't used to four paws instead of two feet so I tripped over myself and rolled and hit a wall. I rushed to stand back up and hurried the rest of the way to S.T.A.R. labs to talk to Cisco, Dr. Snow, and Dr. Wells.

How will they react to news of me being a cat?

I run up to Cisco and nudged his leg.

He screamed at a very high pitch which made me chuckle in the inside.

"How did a cat get in here?" He stated.

"I'm NOT a cat." I said grumpily.

"What the-" he stopped. "Shaylea?"

"Yes. What's happening to me?" I replied shaking.

"I'm not sure..." Cisco ran to his desk and talked into a microphone. "Dr. Wells, Caitlin, we need you in the cortex RIGHT now."

A few seconds later Caitlin ran in, Dr. Wells right behind her rolling around in his wheel chair slowly.

"What's wrong Cisco?" Caitlin looked at me and her face wrinkled up, " why is there a cat in here?"

"I'm not a cat!" I said angrily, to where a cat like hiss came out after.

"Who's that!?" She said jumping back.

"It's Shaylea." Dr. Wells jumped in.

"Yeah." I said, "now how do I change back into me?"

They all stood there, frozen. At that moment, I knew I was completely screwed.

"I promise, we'll figure this out." Dr. Wells said full of emotion.

"Yeah..." I mumbled.

"I'm sorry.." Caitlin said.

"For what, Dr. Snow?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"It's our fault your like this...I think the particle accelerator did this... and please, call me Caitlin."

I stood completely still. I couldn't even bring myself to let out a small "oh". I looked down at the floor for a while. I looked around the lab. I realized for the first time that the lab was actually beautiful. All the tech was set up perfectly and there was two other offices connected to the cortex, plus the long spiral hallway. The bright lights added on to the effect of all the white desks and walls and the floor. The only color in the room was Caitlin and Cisco's outfits, standing out like small splats of colorful paint on a white canvas. Then someone spoke up.

"How do you turn into a cat? Something had to trigger it." It was Dr. Wells.

"I don't know..." I said.

"Think harder. You had to have done something." Cisco said.

"All I remember is, I came across this cat that was starving. I was studying all of its features, focusing on them. Then while I was petting it, poof. I WAS the cat." I explained.

"Maybe that's it!" Caitlin jumped in.

"Maybe what's it?" Cisco asked.

"Maybe if she focuses on an animal, or study's one, that's what triggers the shift. Okay, I say we have her focus on her human body, what it looks like. What it's like walking around. Make her think about what makes you human. Then if we're lucky, she'll be human again." Caitlin carefully explained.

"Haha..ha..ha. Human again.." Cisco chuckled. "Seriously, no one's feeling that quote?" He looked at us all.

"I can try..." I stood up straight on all four paws, and closed my eyes. I thought of my green eyes, my long hazelnut brown hair, how small my hands were, my short stubby nose, my long eyelashes, and my small ears. I thought of how tall I was, and what it felt like to walk on two legs. I remembered what it fwlt like to wiggle your toes, and I thought of my giant clown feet.

Then I heard a scream, it must have been Cisco cause when I opened my eyes he was grabbing onto Caitlin's arm.

I looked at the floor and saw feet. Real feet. Somehow, I was still wearing my clothes.

"Wow." Was all I managed to say.

"That's awesome! What did it feel like to be a cat?" Cisco started showering me with questions.

For the next three months we all spent a few hours of everyday figuring out my powers, how they were created, and training me to control them. Then we discovered there is more out there like me, but not all of them were good.

We We're in the Cortex, Cisco started playing 'Poker Face', the most annoying song ever.

I heard a giant gasp, I turned around and Barry was awake, and he was panicking.

"Where am I?" He questioned us all.

Calm down. Your at S.T.A.R. labs dude." Cisco said.

I just stood there, having no clue what to do or say.
