We all talked about a lot of things. After everyone left, Barry offered to stay behind and help clean up.
"Thanks for helping me clean up." I said.
"It's not a problem." Barry smiled.
"So, are you staying or are you going home?" I asked.
"I can stay if you want. But we have work in the morning, remember?" Barry smiled.
Every time he smiles, it's so beautiful.
"I remember. What time is it?" Barry looked at his phone.
"10:30. Why?" He asked.
"Just wondering how late we can stay up." I said. Honestly, it's so awkward now that Barry and I are dating.. but I guess that it's like this every time best friends date.
"Oh okay. But, I don't have any clothes.."
"You're fast enough to go get some." I smirked. "Or did you forget about that little trick of yours?"
Barry laughed, and suddenly he was gone. I smiled and went back to my room and grabbed some clothes and took a shower.

I walked in my room and Barry was laying on my bed watching tv. I climbed in next to him.
"Is it just me or is this really awkward?" I said.
"What do you mean?" Barry asked.
"Us dating.. it just feels awkward to me." I said. Barry left out a deep breath.
"You noticed it too. Yeah.. but I don't know, maybe it's always awkward at first when friends date." He said.
"Maybe we should stay friends for a while. Get as close as we used to be, and then try again." I said.
"That sounds like a good idea.. but I really want to be with you now."
"I know. We'll get there, eventually." I said, kissing his soft lips, he kissed back.
"Someday?" He asked.
"Someday." I smiled.
