"Hey, guys? Can we have the room?" Barry asked. Caitlin and Cisco left, leaving Barry and I alone. Which I didn't want.
--
"Barry, there's nothing to talk about." I said with my arms crossed.
"Yes, there is. One, we need to solve this...whatever between us, I can't lose you. Two, YOU have powers. Three, we need to find your mom." He counted out.
"Okay maybe there's a little bit.." I mumbled, and slid down in my seat.
"Shaylea, I'm sorry I stormed off on Christmas.." he apologized.
"You think that's what this is about?" I said, my voice rising in anger. "Barry, you kept a HUGE secret from me! A life changing secret! Yes, I know I have powers too. But, I'm not the one running around the city saving people! I'm not the city's guardian angel. YOU are. You lied to me, Barry. You lied. After everything that's happened, I thought you would be the last person to hurt me."
"I'm sorry.. look, can we just.." he started walking around the room, "can we just hang out again, tonight maybe? I really miss you."
I sat there, saying nothing.
"Okay.. well I have to go... be the city's 'guardian angel'." He said, quoting my words. He walked down the hallway.
Damn it, Barry. You had to do this to me.
"Barry, Wait!" I said catching up to him at the elevator.
"Yeah?" He said, stopping the doors so I could get in.
"I guess.. it would be okay to hang out tonight. Maybe you can finally tell me what's bothering you. Because I know it wasn't... this." I said pointing at his suit.
He smiled.
"Good, I'll pick you up at like..6?"
"Sure." I nodded. "Bye." I stepped out of the elevator and went back to the Cortex.

I was trying to decide on an outfit, but everything nice I had was either too sparkly, or weird looking.
I decided to call Iris.
"Hello?" I heard her answer.
"Hey, Iris. Could you come to my house? I can't decide what to wear.."
"Sure! On my way." She said before she hung up.
Soon enough, she was here. I rushed and let her in.
"Hey!" I greeted her, moving out of the way to let her in.
"Okay, I brought a few dresses you might like." She said holding them up.
"Ugh, dresses.. okay let's do this." I said.
She handed me the first dress, it was a red dress, but with a brown tint. It only had one strap. I rushed to put it on, It was tight. But I guess that was the point.
"Oh my.. you look beautiful!" She said when I walked out.
"I don't think.. Barry would like it."
"Oh my God." She said.
"What?"
"YOU like Barry!" She half screamed in excitement.
"What? No."
"Yes you do! You can't lie to me, I seen way your eyes lit up when you mentioned him. I always thought you did. You would always watch him when he wasn't looking. Every time he would look at you, you'd blush. I finally now it's true!" She screamed and hugged me.
"Iris, you CAN'T say anything! Please!" I begged her.
"Your secret is safe with me." She smiled. "I've been waiting so long for Barry to find someone like you."
"Barry doesn't even like me, so technically he hasn't found someone like me."
"Shaylea, I can't believe you can't see it.. that's why if hurt him so much that you lied to him. That's why he didn't come to my house for Christmas, that's why when your mom was taken and he found you on the street he stayed with you for three days straight until you woke up. Shaylea, he has feelings for you. He just hasn't admitted it to himself yet." She preached.
"You really think so?" I asked with hope.
"Of course. You guys would be perfect."
I smiled and hugged her.
"Um.. Can we find a different dress?" I said looking at the one I had on.
"I have the perfect one." She handed me a knee length black dress with spaghetti straps.
"Its beautiful, I'm going to go try it on." I walked back to my bedroom and slipped into it, before walking out I looked into the mirror. It was perfect. I just need shoes..
I stepped into the living room where Iris was waiting.
"It's beautiful!" She stated.
"It is. But we just have one problem.. I don't think I have any shoes.." I said raising a finger.
Iris stood and went to my room, rummaging through my shoes. She pulled out some strappy black high heels.
"These look good." She said.
"Heels? I've never worn heels. I just had them because my mom bought them for me." I said, worried.
"Put them on. We'll see if you can walk in them." She tossed them too me.
I slipped them on and stood up, almost falling back down.
"I guess I could do it.." I said.
"You look beautiful. Lets add some eye liner and you'll be perfect." She looked me up and down. Iris did my make up, she added in a little lip gloss.
"Hmm.. one more thing."she walked behind me and was doing something with my hair. I felt a few tugs and pulls.
"There, you're ready." She looked at me, her eyes glossy.
"You're not going to cry are you?" I said.
"I don't know. You look perfect."
I heard the door bell ring.
"I'll get it!" Iris said.
I heard her open the door and exchange a few words with someone.
"Shaylea! Barry's here." I heard Iris.
I walked out and Barry looked me up and down.
"You look gorgeous." Barry said when I walked out.
"I told you." Iris jumped in.
"Just one thing." He walked up to me and pulled the clip out of my hair, letting it fall on my shoulders.
"There, now it's perfect." He smiled.
I blushed, and Iris noticed, she awwed a little bit, making Barry look at her weirdly.
"You ready to go?" Barry asked.
"As ready as I'll be." I stated.
"I can't help but say this, but you too Look like you are going on a date. I looked at Barry and his eyes widened, and he turned cherry red.
