10 | Joey Fredrick + Respect

I'm debating on how I feel about Joey as we head up the kitchen with his arm casually resting on my shoulder. I don't know if he just annoys the heck out of me or I'm crushing on him.

All the possibilities are circling around in my head. My daydream's been interrupted by Amanda asking, "Now, tell me. What have you done to my kitchen?"

As she scans the place, she sees batter on the stove and counter and eggs on the floor. Matthias says, "It looks like a pancakes was massacred in here!" as he laughs.

I take a look at Joey and he tells Amanda, "But we cleaned the dishes and the stuff we used. Doesn't that make up for it?" He pats his eyelashes like a child as I pout my lips at her.

"I'm so sorry. Just a day in your house and its a wreck already," I apologize. "That's nonsense," Amanda replies. Matthias turns to me and says, "Nah, stop. Joey makes a mess out of everything."

Joey explains, "She cracked an egg in my hair. Did she tell you that? She's not as angelic as you think she is." Wow, does he have the guts to tell me out.

"He started it. He combed my hair with a whisk!!!" I state. I slap him off of me as he tries to keep me still and trap me in his arms.

Matthias immediately says, "Joey Fredrick!!! That is not how I raised you!" He slaps Joey's head and says, "Bad boy!" Amanda is frustrated as she says, "You did what??? Joey!"

She turns to me and says, "Did you get it off? Did you have to cut it? Oh, I apologize for his misbehavior." She starts holding my hair. I say, "Well, you know, it's really okay. When you come to think of it, it's actually kinda funny."

Joey follows up, "I apologized already, okay? And, I combed her hair for her after. With a real comb that is." Matthias laughs as he stretches out to reach fallen hair on the floor, "I believe these belong to you, Sab."

"This isn't funny. What if she got bald?" Amanda protested. We all ended up laughing and I said, "Amanda, go easy on Joey, please. It's okay. We've worked things out. We'll behave."

Matthias and Joey just laughs. Matthias tells Joey though, "I'm serious. Do not do that again, you understand?" Joey just nods and laughs as a response.

As Amanda cooks and insists that I do not help her out, she asks Matthias to accompany me to the room I'll be sleeping in. Ofcourse, Joey had to come along.

As we head up, Matthias points out where their bedroom is, the bathroom and his office space. As we reach the guest room which Joey claims is his, I see a bed and a couch.

Matthias explains, "Okay, first things first. Can you two share one room?" As Joey starts to answer with a yes, Matthias puts his finger onto Joey's mouth and says, "Shhhh! I'm not talking to you."

They're adorable brothers, really. I answer, "I guess we can but really, I could stay downstairs at the living room. I really wouldn't mind. Taking his room is way to much, Matt."

He shakes his head and says, "Don't be ridiculous! You're staying here on the bed. Joey takes the couch. Is it fair?" He looks at me and I say, "More than enough."

As Matthias heads down, I stop him and say, "Matthias, I haven't really talked to you with just the two of us. I wanna say thank you, redundant yes, but still. You're a lifechanger, you taught me to laugh again through your videos. I..." Matthias stretches out to hug me and says, "Sab, stop thanking me. I should be thanking you. I appreciate that you value me and Amanda so much and our videos. Okay? And if it isn't implied yet, you are most welcome."

He heads down and calls out, "I'll call you guys as soon as dinner's ready. Joey, fix the bed, would you!?"

As I enter the room again, Joey poses weirdly seductively on the bed and says, "Do you wanna sleep with me on this bed?" I laugh and said, "Is this your way of seducing me?"

He stays in his position and says, "Yes, yes it is. Why? Is it working?" I respond to him by acting out I was vomiting. We both laugh and fix the bed with the sheets Joey found in the closet.

When we finished fixing the bed and I fold the used sheets we removed, Joey moves closer to me and takes my shoulders and says, "Hey, Sab. I was joking, alright? I just hope you know I wouldn't try something fishy for tonight. I'm not that type of guy."

I'm surprised, he's a gentleman. He is really one, he just acts so cockily and annoyingly as a cover up of him being such a nice guy. "Wow. I'm shocked." I say. "I never saw that coming, Joey. Thank you. Not much guys like you anymore." I sigh.

He says, "I respect you way too much to try anything stupid. I hope you get that even if we fight so often." I swear that is one of the best things a guy has ever told me before.

I take his hand and stare right into his eyes and say, "Thank you, Joey. Really. That's one of the best things to hear from a guy." He smiles as I continue to stare at him.

To break the awkwardness I'm feeling, I joke instead and say, "As a matter of fact, that is the best humanly line I have heard from you." I poke his nose and run away.

He runs after me and tries to chase me as he says, "Hey, you're right. I could be nice if I tried. And now, I choose not to." As he continues to chase me and because there's really not much space to run around in, I scoot over to the bed and he catches up and we both fall.

We laugh and laugh till I pushed him over the bed. And I swear, there was such a loud thud on the floor because of it, which made me laugh even harder. He groans in pain yet still finds a way to laugh. "You jackass." he whines.

We hear from below, "What the heck was that?" Matthias shouts. Amanda shouts even louder, "If Sab comes down hurt again Joey, I will send you out of this house!" I hear Matthias laugh as me and Joey laugh as well in the room.

"Both of you get down here!" Matthias calls out. "Coming!" Joey says. As we head out, I whisper something that I think would make Joey embarrassed about.

"Joey Fredrick, aye? Cute name." I whisper. He blushed and says, "Damn it. I thought you didn't notice."

I run off downstairs screaming as he chases me again. "Come back here, you!!!" Joey screams and I just laugh till I reach the kitchen screaming for my life.
