[ Joey's POV ]

On the drive home, I knew there was gonna be some alone time for me and my brother, Matthias (which practically means lone annoying time).He stares and smiles at me weirdly.

He asks, "Joeyyyyyyy." I groan, "What?" He continues, "What was that all about, huh? You and Sab?" He plays with his eyebrows.

I smack his stomach as he laughs and said, "Nothing, man. Focus on the road." He makes fun of me and says, "You think I didn't see that moment you had before leaving huh? That whole pinky swear thing?"

He teases me which is annoying but I find myself laughing with him. I state in the middle of the laugh, "Stop, Matthias. Come on dude!"

Matthias still doesn't stop making those teasy faces which just makes me laugh with him. He asks again, "Soooo, how was your nighttttt?" He's using the tone of an annoying kid which makes him look even more annoying and funny at the same time.

I laugh and say, "What night? Nothing happened! I behaved!!!" Sab wouldn't want me sharing abt her nightmares so I keep it to myself, besides, I consider it a part of herself she gave to me.

Matthias continues to question, "No sweet moments? No touchy touchy?" He starts tickling my sides which make me laugh and say, "No, dude! Quit asking!"

He still continues, "No, nothing?!?! Boo, you're slow!" He adds seriously now, "I see the way you look at her, Joey. It's different from all the girls you brought home and then break hearts after."

I smack him again as he giggles but continues, "Joey, I've known you all my life. I can literally see that you have a thing for her." I feel awkward and tense with this conversation.

Unknowingly, I blurt, "We just slept together, nothing else, bro! It's not a big deal!!!" I immediately regret saying that loud.

Matthias stops at the side of the road and claps happily. "You what?!?! Joey! What did Sab say?" I explain, "Just quit asking already. We both needed it anyway. Just stop."

He laughs and says, "Ohhhh! So that's why you wanted to drive her home! Then," He laughs again, "You wanted to pick her up too! Aww, my little brother!" He plays with my hair and I smack him.

"I just can't. Tell me moreeee!!!" Matthias chuckles. I smile to myself and demand, "You shut up about this thing okay?" I correct myself, "No, it's not even a thing yet! Just shhhhh!"

Matthias says, "Okayyyyyy. Amanda and I we're right. We knew there was just so much sexual tension between you two. Bryan even pointed out that you had some sorta connection."

I reply, "Whatever this is bro, I don't wanna screw up. So, stay out of it." He laughs again and says, "Just promise me you wouldn't break her heart as well, Joey. She seems so nice."

I say without even thinking, "I don't think I have the strength to hurt her like that."

Matthias continues driving and punches my side rib and said, "That's it, bro. You're falling."

The ride was continues with endless teasing by my brother. I text Sab just minutes we left saying, "Missed fighting with you already. -J"

I smile at it and then think about what Matthias said. Am I actually falling?

Once we all get inside, I was interrogated by Sebastian, my older brother. He's only a year older than me, much like Joey's age.

He starts, "Sit." I obediently sit on the couch. He stares strangely at me and says, "Who was that JFred guy? He was huge."
