<Sab's POV>

The drive to Matthias's place was comfortably silent. As Joey drives, we enjoy each other's quietness. We glance at each other once in a while, exchange smiles, but mostly funny faces.

Still in silence halfway through the drive, Joey's hand finds mine. I stare at our hands as I blush, I then look up to see him tensely looking at the road as if he made a horrible decision to do so.

I react back by intertwining them together. I breathe deep and stare back at the road as well. From the corner of my eye, I see Joey look at me and then to our hands.

He tugs my hand which catches my attention which made me look at him. He's smiling, that genuine smile on his face. Joey breaks the silence, "Thanks."

I ask him back, "For what?" My mind drifts off to what reasons he could possibly thank me for; maybe for breakfast or maybe for being obedient or...

My overthinking was cut off by Joey stutters, "Just for being here, not rejecting me, I don't know." My heart just melted in me, send help.

I say as casually as possible to hide this excitement I'm feeling, "I'd never reject you, Joey. Now stop fidgeting over there." Joey grins so wide to what I just said. The words just feel off my mouth.

"Thank you, princess." He repeats, "I like this." He smiles to himself. I clearly don't know what this is as well. I cockily joke now, "Yeah, I mean, who wouldn't like holding hands with me?"

I smirk and then he laughs as we park, "Now, she's back. My cocky princess." I laugh as we get down. Joey gives a honk before he gets down tho so that MattAnda would know we're here.

When he's by my side now, he takes my hand again. It feels like I'm liking getting used to this. I accept it and lock mine with his as well.

He then compliments me saying, "Hmm, I didn't expect someone to pull off my shirt even better than I do." I smack him with my free hand and say, "Don't we look adorable?" I roll my eyes at him.

He laughs as he insults, "You still look better this morning though, with your hair pointing everywhere like one nest." I punch him as we both laugh together.

We then hear, "Oh my word!!! You guys are adorable!!!!" Amanda squeals out of excitement.

I laugh as she walks towards us also hand in hand with Matthias. Joey eyes Matthias with who knows what he means but Matthias just laughs and says, "You guys, huh?"

He's pointing at us teasingly. I only then felt conscious about our intertwined hands. I slowly release my grip but then Joey grips harder and whispers, "Oh, now you're conscious and shy?"

I decide otherwise and just let our hands stay the way they are, together. Amanda, whom seems to be so excited by us said, "We never did that, honey! We should've done that when we we're dating!"

I blush as Joey nods awkwardly at Amanda. Matthias says, "Yeah, babe. I wish we did." He then looks at Joey and teases, "I didn't know couple outfits were your thing Joey!"

Matthias then turns to me and sincerely says, "Sab, I must say, you guys do look cute." I lean into Joey as he reciprocates it as we both blush shyly.

"Awwww! They're both shy, and blushing!!! Oh my word!" Amanda screams with a grin. "Can we go inside now?" I find the courage to blurt the words.

"NO!!!" Amanda says. "Stay right there, I'm grabbing my camera!!! This is such a document-worthy moment!" she adds. I choke as Matthias laughs and follows her in, he shouts us to stay right where we are.
