I need to leave

"I can't stay here Michelle" I heard mum say as I stood at the door of my bedroom.
"What do you mean?" She said.
"I can't walk on that street everyday knowing that my little girl died there. I can't walk past nick's flat everyday feeling guilty about what happened and what I did. I can't put Isla and Bella through more heart break because of the things that happen here"
"So what are you gonna do? Leave? Don't forget that you are pregnant with nicks child and I'm pretty sure he is going to want to be a part of his baby's life."
"I know but I won't be far, only in Devon"
"In Devon, what about the girls, Isla is in the middle of exams and Bella is about to start school, there are settled here Carla."
"That's the point"
"What?"
"I want them to stay here, with you Kate, Aidan, Johnny and Nick. Only in term times and in holidays they can be with me. It gives me time to get used to this little one. Time to adjust."
"Have you told them?"
"No, I need to get stuff sorted first"
"Like what?"
"Where are they gonna live?"
"I don't know, with you or Kate and Johnny?"
"I'll help you get them sorted and I will look after them"
"Thank you"

I was still stood as the door of my room. I had tears in my eyes, and even though I was upset I could understand where she was coming from. I walked out into the kitchen.
"I get it" I said and continued to slowly walk.
"Isla, did you-?"
"Yeah, I heard, but don't worry, I understand why you would go"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah"
"I am still gonna see you as much as I can and I will call you every night ok? But I need to get out of here, away from all this bad stuff and make a fresh start for my little baby ok?"
"Yeah I get it, but can I tell Bella? I think she'll understand it more from me"
"Of course tell her in the morning though because we both need to get to bed."
"Ok"

I started walking to my bedroom.
"I love you mum"
"I love you too Isla smiler."
