EMMAS POV
5 years passed and me and Jacob were still a tight couple. My birthday was tomorrow and I hoped Jacob would remember. I remembered his. 2nd of October. I was 19 tomorrow. Jacob was already 19. We were sitting on the couch, watching programmes and I wanted to know whether Jacob actually knew it was my birthday tomorrow. "What's happening tomorrow, babe?" I asked, looking at him. "Tomorrow? Hmm...let me think. I'm pretty sure someone's turning 19 tomorrow." Jacob replied. "Oh, yeah? Who's that, then?" I asked, smirking. "I'm sure it's someone I know." Jacob said, smirking back. "Really? Let me try and think who it is." I said, pretending to think. "Ooh! I've got it. It's you!" Jacob exclaimed, pointing at me. "Oh, yeah! I just asked because I thought you might've forgotten." I explained. "Forgotten? You're my girlfriend." Jacob said, pushing me down on the couch so I was laying down. "I'm your girlfriend?" I asked, smirking. "Yeah." Jacob replied, laying on top of me. "You are." He said. "You're incredibly heavy, you know?" I asked, sarcastically. He gaped. "I'm just kidding!" I exclaimed, putting my arms around his neck. He gave me a quick peck on the lips and I raised my eyebrow. "Seriously?" I asked. "No." He replied and kissed me, passionately.
We kissed for a good 5 minutes and when we pulled back, Jacob's lips were a little swollen. "Are my lips swollen?" I asked. "Yeah. Are mine?" He asked me. I nodded. We stared at eachother for a few seconds until we both bursted out laughing. I sighed with happiness. I had a moment where I thought my life couldn't get any better than this. I think Jacob did too. "My life can never get any better than this." We both said, suddenly. "That was creepy. But it can't. With you in my life, nothing can change it." Jacob said. "Same. I love you." I answered. "I love you more." Jacob said. "Wanna go to the mall?" I asked Jacob, getting off the couch. "Yes. I've been wanting to go since like, last month." Jacob replied. "Same! C'mon. Let's go." I said, heading to the door, as I grabbed my phone and bag. I opened the door and headed to Jacob's car. He unlocked it so I could get in. I got in and Jacob locked up and got into the car. "You ready?" Jacob asked. "Yup." I answered. "Let's go then, baby." Jacob said. He was so cute.
