LORENS POV
I just broke up with my boyfriend, who I've been with since I was 13. Of course I'm sad. I'm really sad. But I love Mark. As soon as we touched lips, my feelings for Joey just disappeared. And my feelings for Mark kicked in. I don't know what happened. Mark wanted to talk to me, so we went into the corner and talked. "What's up?" I asked, casually. I was trying to hide my fears. "Uhh, as you know. We've just broken up with our partners, that we've been with since we were 13 for you and 15 for me." Mark said. "Yeah..." I replied. "And...uhh...Do you like me?" Mark asked. "What you up to, guys?" Emma asked, standing next to us. Mark whispered something into Emma's ear but I couldn't make it out. "Ohhhh! I'll just go back to Jacob." Emma said, walking back to Jacob. "Loren. Will you be my girlfriend?" Mark asked. "Uhh...umm...maybe let's wait a little. I mean, we just broke up with our partners..." I answered. "Oh, yeah. Totally. I get you." Mark said, trying to hide his sadness. I could tell he was sad. "Let's go and see what Emma and Jacob are doing." I said. "Yeah, c-cool." Mark replied.
EMMAS POV
Loren and Mark came over to us and I nudged Jacob. He was talking about how them two would be a wonderful couple. I wasn't paying any attention though. "So, what did you two talk about over there?" Jacob asked. "N-nothing." Mark replied. "Yeah. Nothing much." Loren said. "Okay..." I said. I knew Mark asked Loren whether she liked him and she said no or something like that. "What you wanna do? It's only...about half 5." I said. "We could order pizza. Because I may or may not be starving." Jacob suggested, smirking. "Yeah. We could do that. I'm starving too." Mark agreed. Me and Loren nodded. Jacob went and grabbed the phone, to order pizza.
