Chapter 19

EMMAS POV
Me and Loren chased Mark all around the house, until I ran out of breath. "I...can't...run!" I gasped. Loren nodded at me and carried on chasing Mark. I laid down on the floor, looking down from the balcony inside the house, at Jacob. He stood there laughing. "You alright?" He asked, in between laughs. "What'd you think?" I asked, blankly. "I'm sorry! It was SO funny!" Jacob exclaimed, bursting into more laughter. "It is not funny." I said, getting up and heading back downstairs. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry!" Jacob exclaimed, trying hard to stop laughing. "Thank you(!)" I said, and grabbed a towel from the cupboard. "Where are them two?" Jacob asked. "Dunno. Loren's chasing Mark around the house." I replied. As soon as I said that, we saw them running across the balcony upstairs. We both laughed. I wet my towel and started to wipe my face. "I'm getting payback for this. Like revenge. On both of you..." I said. "Why? I didn't do anything! It was Mark!" Jacob exclaimed. "Yeah, but you were obviously part of it." I answered. "I guess. Wait! No! I wasn't part of it!" Jacob said. "See? You were. You just confessed to me." I laughed. He sighed and put his hands on his face. He flopped onto the couch, groaning. I giggled and carried on wiping my face. "Ugh! I've got it in my hair!" I groaned. Jacob laughed, meanly. "It's not funny. How about I dump a whole load of cream on your hair?" I asked, rhetorically. Jacob shut up, completely. "That's what I thought." I said. I finished wiping my face off and I asked Jacob, "Where's Loren and Mark?" Jacob looked at me. "Upstairs, I think. Go check." Jacob replied. I groaned and went upstairs. "Guys?" I asked, walking along the corridor. I went into Trinity's room. Nobody was in there. Bathroom? Nobody. Brad's room? Nobody. Duncan's old room? Nobody. Spare room? I opened the door and saw something I never wanted to see. Them kissing. "What are you doing?!" I asked, shocked and confused.
