EMMAS POV
"Emma. Go outside." Jacob commanded, looking around. "No. I'm staying with you." I replied. "Emma. I'm protecting you. Go outside." Jacob demanded, moving closer to the sound. "Jacob. Please, be carful." I told him, opening the door. "Mark. With me." Jacob said, signalling Mark to come to him. I went outside and sat on the steps of the porch. I prayed to God that Jacob and Mark would be carful. Like, I can't...they NEED to be carful. Just then, the door opened at force. I turned around to see a man, in a black mask. He ran straight past me and Jacob and Mark stood in the doorway. Blood on their faces. It looked liked they've been punched and that something had been thrown at them. "Guys!" I exclaimed, running into their arms. "What happened to you?!" I asked, pushing them into the kitchen so I could clean them up. "That idiot. He punched us and threw that vase at us." Jacob explained, pointing at the smashed vase on the floor. "Did it catch you?" I asked them. "It caught me on the arm." Mark said, pointing to the cut on his arm. I gasped. "Here. Keep this on it." I told him, as I passed him a damp cloth. "As for you. Wipe your face. Go into the bathroom and do it." I told Jacob. "Okay." Jacob replied and headed to the bathroom. "Take the cloth off, Mark." I told Mark. I acted like a mother to the boys but I really cared for them. And I don't want to see them like this. Jacob came out of the bathroom, all cleaned up. "You cleaned up yet, bruv?" Jacob asked Mark. "Almost." Mark replied.
