Chapter 12

EMMAS POV
Mark and Jacob were now all cleaned up and we were all sat on the couch, chatting about when we were younger. "I remember when we were younger, you fakes your own death. Like I was so sad." I said to Mark. "I know! She like cried all night, everyday." Jacob agreed. "It was horrible. It was horrible doing it to you guys." Mark told us. "No! It wasn't your fault. It was the ba##ard that forced you to." I exclaimed. "No. I should've tried and got away." Mark disagreed. "No. Because they might actually kill you and I wouldn't know what to do. Like I don't even know. Anyways, let's talk about another subject." I said. "Yeah. Just hold that thought. Mark, come here." Jacob said, getting off the couch and going upstairs. Mark shrugged and followed Jacob. I sat on the couch all by myself. I got out my phone and phoned Brooklyn.
Brooklyn: Hey Emma. How you doing?
Me: Hi. Good. Mark's at Jacob's place with me. Want to come over?
Brooklyn: Yeah. Want me to come over now?
Me: Yeah, if you want. I don't want to be the only girl!
Brooklyn: Okay. I'm coming over now.
Me: Alright. See you in a bit. Bye!
Brooklyn: Bye!
I hung up. I wanted Loren to be here too so I phoned her.
Loren: Hey Em. What's up?
Me: Hey. I'm at Jacob's. Mark's here, and Brooklyn's coming over. Want to come over?
Loren: Uhh, lemme check.
Me: Okay.
Loren:...yeah. I can come round. I'll come now, yeah?
Me: Yeah, great. See you later!
Loren: Bye!
Then Jacob and Mark came down the stairs. Mark was smirking. "What have you two been up to?" I asked, suspiciously. "Uhh...Emma. I kinda need to tell you something but ask you something at the same time..." Jacob said. "What is it?" I asked, confused. "I-I..." Jacob stuttered. "Do you want me to do it, Jacob?" Mark asked him. "No. I'll do it." Jacob replied. "Uhh...I-I recently got some cash and uhh...I was thinking..." Jacob told me. "Don't be afraid. I'm your girlfriend. Fiancee even!" I exclaimed. "Okay...I was thinking of buying a house together." Jacob said, quickly under one breath.
