CHAPTER 15

Wingpelt was still sitting in the medicine cat den still waiting for Dragonclaw to wake up. she still hasn't moved and he was starting to get worried. He heard the brambles swish open as fernsong walked in. "hm well well well she looks a bit....Dead! Now doesn't she? She hasnt waken up yet so might as well be." wingpelt shook his head. "SHUT UP FERNSONG shes not dead!! So just shut up!" wingpelt yowled. Then he felt a bulge at his paws. "Dragonclaw your ALIVE!!" he nuzzled her and purred happily. "W-wingpelt? Wha-what happened." she turned her head to fernsong. She shook her head and backed up in fear. "N-N-NO WHY DID YOU DO THIS-...." she paused with wingpelt stopping her. "what! Do what? What did she do?!" he turned his back to fernsong. She put her claws up to her neck and acted like she was going to cut dragonclaws neck off. "Uhh... N-nothing she didnt do anything." she looked down at her paws fernsong gave her an evil grin. "Oh ok....?" he lays back down with her licking her face. Fernsong hisses and walks out of the den. Wingpelt looked at dragonclaw after she left. "Dragonclaw what did she do? Come on you can tell me!" she responded with a dark mew. "i-i cant tell you." she looked at him. "Why not?! Dont you trust me?" she nodded. "of course i trust you its just that.....she said that if i say anything well...she would kill me." wingpelt was shocked. "she threatened you!?! What! Why didnt you tell flamestar?! He could do something about this!" she shook her head. "because i dont want to stress him out. He's the one shes after! Shes going to kill him to become leader! Shes trying to take over fireclan! She was the one who did this to me! She wants to kill me!" she frowned. Wingpelt shook his head. "No no no no!" she frowned again. "im scared wingpelt. Its not just her ether shes working with a dark forest cat! And in this condition i wont be able to fight back!" wingpelt growled. "no! You are going to fight back! You are not a quitter or a weak cat. Your the best fighter i know out of this whole clan! Im going to help you but we still have to tell flamestar trust me ill be here and i wont leave you alone until i know fernsong is GONE!" she nodded admiring his strength and encouragement. "Ok.....ill do it! But first..." she kisses his cheek. "you might wanna scratch being single off your list teach me everything you know." she purrs smiling "really! YES!!! Uhhh lets get up to flamestars den its important we tell him about this. Shall we?" he blushed walking out of the den with his mate walking up to flamestars den. They didnt notice that bloodface was watching them from the shadows. He disappeared into darkness and ran off back to the dark forest. The battle is soon to come
