I drive back to work with a lot on my mind.
What if she finds out?
Another voice speaks in my head. It was more sinister.
If she finds out, kill her like the rest.
"No!" I bang my fists against the steering wheel. It speaks again.
Well, you don't have a rap sheet, so I guess you're in the clear... for now.
An unexpected smiles sneaks across my face. I park my car in the parking garage and head back to my office.

Besides moving up to the 22nd floor, today was rather shitty and the day couldn't end any slower. I walk up to my car when I see a note tucked under the windshield wiper:
I know who you really are.
A sense of fear creeps up on me.
Who is this person?
What do they know?
How do they know?
I tuck the note into my pocket and drive to Alicia's.
I get to her apartment in about half an hour. I pull out my keys and open her door. Chaz was sleeping on the couch until I closed the door. He brown eyes lit up and he run towards me with his tail wagging rapidly. I pet his head.
"It's nice to see you to Chaz. Ya hungry boy?" I say and he jumped a little. I chuckle as I go over and fill up his food bowl.
Alicia walks in 15 minutes later. "Hey babe," she says as she puts her keys on a little table by the door.
"Hey baby, how was work today?" I say as I sit down on her couch.
"Besides finding out that our missing girls were all business majors and our list of at least 40 people we got from Jeffrey, rather uneventful. But I saw a name on that list that caught my eye." She is now sitting on the couch with her legs in my lap. I rub her legs.
I gulp. "Really..."
Oh no...
"Who was it?" I say as I brace myself.
Here it comes...
"Edward Wilson." She replies.
Play it cool, play it cool, she doesn't know a thing.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, and I knew it was you."
