I look at him and he looks at me.
"Monday, the other detectives and I will go through our list of people to see if we have any person or people of interest." I say.
"Okay," he smiles, "guess what?"
"What?"
"I got promoted to COO today before I saw you and Rollens."
I hug him hard. "Congratulations babe, I'm so proud of you." My watch comes into my view: 6:30.
"I better go change," I say as I pull out of the hug and get off the couch.
"Oh yeah, your therapist, shall I drive you this time?" he asks.
"No, I'll drive this time." I walk to my closet in my room. I pick out one of my flannels, blue jeans, and black vans and put those on. I walk back out into the living room.
I partly take up Eddy's view of the tv and ask, "Do I look okay?"
He looks up and down the length of my body, "Alicia, you always look beautiful."
I blush. "Do these jeans make my ass look big?"
"Alicia, I don't know how to answer that."
I scoff. "And why not?"
"Because you have a nice, big ass, so those jeans make them look amazing."
"Thank you babe," I kiss him chastely. I break the kiss and head for the door.
"Be back soon," I call out as I grab my keys.
"I'll be waiting," he says and Chaz jumps on the couch and lays beside Eddy, "I guess it's we now."
I blow a kiss to Eddy and Chaz, then I'm out the door. I unlock my car and get in. I put my foot on the brake, push the start button and the car came to life. I put the car in reverse and drive off.

Half an hour of waiting at An Ear to Lend counseling before I went in. The receptionist calls my name and I head back to Jeanette's office.
"Hi Alicia," Jeanette, my therapist, says.
"Hi Ms. Jeanette." I sit down on the couch right in front of her. She crosses her legs and grabs a notepad and a pen.
"So, how's everything been?"
"It's been...okay actually."
"And you and Eddy?"
"Good. Our two year anniversary is coming up soon in June."
"That's great." she says as she scribbles it down on the notepad. "And the case?"
"Good, Rollens and I got a feel of these girls lives at college a week or two ago, earlier today, we went to Collings Communications to get the list of people that accompanied Mr. Collings on the business trips over the years and I saw Eddy's name on that list."
"You're not worried about that?"
"We've practically told each other everything over the 5 year period we've known each other, so no, I'm not that worried."
"Very true, he's a good guy when he came with you on some of these sessions."
"Yeah, he's amazing. I love him. I really do. Wait, no. I'm in love with him."
"I can tell by the way your eyes light up when you see him, and when you leave him to go somewhere, you are happy. I'm glad that you're truly happy."
