Chapter 16

I'm just gonna get right to the story

FOUR POV

As she explained all these things I started to remember but still, not much then she asked me if I remember any of that.

"Well kinda," I replied," not much. It's still fuzzy but a little bit," she stood up and squealed. she looked so happy. The happiest she has been in days. I smiled because she spinned around and jumped. Then she just leaned in a kissed me. I was shocked but I felt these sparks. Sparks that I hadn't gotten with any of the other girls I had kissed over the years. Then I remembered, everything. I remember her, and being in love with her. I remembered my Bea. I kissed back. I was so happy that I finally remembered. So happy that she wasn't going to be so sad anymore because it killed me to see her like that. Then she pulled back and looked at me with a confused look. I could almost read her mind, she was wondering why I kissed her back when all I remembered was hating her.

"Bea, I remember." her eyes get wide and she jumps into my arms. She buries her face in my shoulder.

"I thought I lost you." she says, started to cry. I put my fingers under her chin and see all the hurt and fear in her eyes. I wipe away her tears.

"You don't have to worry about losing me ever again. Ok?" she lets out a breath and smiles. She nods. I see all the fear and hurt in her eyes being replaced with happiness and relief.

"I love you bea."

"I love you too toby."

I smile and pull her into a kiss. Just as I look into her eyes and kiss her the nurse walks in.

"Oh sorry." she says looking down. Tris jumps of of me.

"Oh you are fine. We're sorry." she blushes. I smile, its kinda cute to see her like this. Tris smiles back at me. The nurse looks between us and smiles then gives us a confused look.

"Mr. Eaton?"

"Yes." I reply.

"Did your memory return."

"Yea." I say smiling and look at tris, who looks as if she is in her own little world.

"Ok then we will run some tests and then you can go home."

"Why do you need to run the tests." I ask, "I really just want to go home and be with tris."

"Oh don't worry hun. We just need to look some scans of your brain and see if all the damage has been resolved. It will only take about 15 minutes." I look at tris.

"Toby, its ok. I can run to your house and get you some clothes. ok?"

"Ok." then tris leaves and closes the door.

About 20 minutes later tris comes back and hands me a sweatshirt, jeans, a white T-shirt, and some black converse.

"Thanks babe."

"No problem." she steps outside while I change and when she comes inside the whole gang was with her.

"FOURRRRR!!" Uriah screams. He runs up to me and literally jumps on me and gives me a hug. I push him off and he falls to the floor.

"You are such a nutcase, Uriah." He just gives me his puppy eyes," but I love you."

"I knew you had feelings four." Zeke comes up and gives me a hug.

"I'm happy that you are ok four." I smile at him. Then I hear a voice that I don't know.

"So the number boy lives." she says, and smirks at me.

"Hi. I'm four. You are?"

"Lynn." I look at tris.

"Oh yea! So four these are some of my friends." She points to a girl with short brown hair and mocha colored skin that has Uriah's hand around her waist, "This is Christina but you already know her." I nod and remember her as uri's girlfriend,"This is Shauna, Lynn's sister," she points to a brown haired girl with green eyes that zeke is staring at. Then she points to a blond haired girl and says her name is marlene. Then she points to a smart looking guy named will. "Ok umm I'm four."

"Wait like the number?" asks chris

"Exactly like the number."

"What, one, two, and three were taken?" she replies, snickering.

"Christina, what the fuck. You already know who I am--"

"I know I just forgot to ask when I met you."

"You have known me for years."

"I know. I just forgot to ask," she says shrugging. I just look at tris and sigh. She laughs. Just then the doctor walks in and says I was good to go.

we all pile into Christina's car but there aren't enough seats. Tris sits on my lap, shauna on zeke's, marlene on wills,Christina on Uriah's and Lynn drives. I put my hands on tris' waist and she smiles at me. I am leaning in to kiss her when Uriah yells,"NO PDAAAA!!" I just roll my eyes and glare at him. I just stare at tris the whole ride home.

We finally pull into tris' drive way and when I take my hands off of her waist. I start to get up but she is asleep, like really asleep. I look up and she Christina looking at her with a sad smile,"She never left your side. She barely slept," I look down at tris,"She really loves you." I nod still looking at tris. Moving slowly I put an arm under her legs and her back. Then I carry her inside and lay her down in her bed.

About 30 minutes later I hear a scream from tris' room. I run up the stairs and burst into her room,"What's wrong," I say kneeling by her bed and brushing the tears of her face.

"Nothing. Just a nightmare." she says breathing heavily, she starts to cry again.

"What was it about?"

"You," she says inbetween sobs,"You were gone! Marcus killed you!" she sobs. I pull her into my embrace and lay down with her."I'm sorry I don't mean to be such a mess." I just hug her while she cries into my shoulder until she is a little better.

"Hey, its ok. I'm ok. Go to sleep. I'll fight of the nightmares."

"With what?" she says sniffling.

"Well my bare hands obviously." she relaxes into my arms, her head against my chest,"I love you." I wait for her to respond but I can tell that she is already far too gone. So I close my eyes and fall asleep with her.
