TRIS POV
"What do you mean Caleb." Tobias says, confused.
"Caleb was the visitor, Caleb was the one that put the notes it the house, and he was probably the one that almost killed us yesterday." I say still in shock but relieved that I finally know what's going on.
"It all makes sense. Caleb started acting really weird when I got Marcus arrested-" I start.
"No but why. I mean I understand that you, your father, and Caleb aren't on the best terms but..."
"I know Toby. I know. But your right. I don't know why he would do that." I say. It couldn't have anything to do with my dads affair could it?
"I have an idea," he says.
"What?" I ask.
"Call him."
"Why? I haven't seen him after the storm and I don't want to talk to his pathetic ass," I say, angry now.
"I know. But we could get something out of him. It's our best chance to know what really is going on." He has s point.
"Okay," I say grabbing my phone of the floor where I dropped it. I dial calebs number, expecting no answer, but surprisingly, I get one. I put the phone on speaker so Tobias can hear.
"Beatrice?" He says.
"Dad?"
"Where are you?" He asks
"Why do you care?"
"Are you safe? Hurt?" He says. Sounding very worried.
"Dad, what's wrong with you? Why do you even care."
"Beatrice I need you to go over to your mothers house. When you get there. Lock all the doors. Don't let anybody in. No one." He says in a rush.
"Dad what the hell is going on? Why are you helping me?"
"Please Beatrice. Your mother and I will explain everything when you get there. Goodbye?"
As soon as I hang up I jump grabbing Tobias and run into the closet. He quickly throws on a sweatshirt and his converse. I grab my jeans, a white shirt and my green jacket then run out with him, throwing my hair into a messy bun. I grab my glasses and head to the door. Then I hear a knock.
"Beatrice. It's Caleb! Open up somethings wrong!" I turn towards Toby quietly go over to the emergency exit in the kitchen.
When we finally reach my moms house. I know something's up. I go to the back and click my up to my old bedroom window with Tobias on my heels. I get in the house and run downstairs just to see my parents.
"Window." I say and they nod. I see something move and I whip to my left. And see the gang. He's right something is seriously wrong.
