Levy's P.O.V.

The days past by and they would soon leave to Magnolia. Her excitement was visible for both of her friends, making them either smile or being annoyed by her. She asked them numerous question about that city until they fell asleep or told her to keep her mouth shut for a single second. But still, she got more nervous every day and waited for the final day to leave.

When she woke up in the morning, a grin spread over her face, she jumped out of bed and walked into the kitchen. Looking for the chef, she ran around in the living room and in the kitchen, just finding Lily sitting on the table with a few kiwis. Gajeel was nowhere to be found.

Sighing, she sat down next to Lily, put her knees up to her chin and looked over at her friend.

"Is he still angry at me?"

That question was entitled. Gajeel finally tried again to learn her how to cook. He decided to make some pasta, the dough was already prepared and she didn't even have to make the noodles, just the sauce. Gajeel did definitely overestimate her. She had told him about her accidents in the kitchen, burning her hand or burning her furniture. Or just leaving everything in a mess because something exploded or cooked too heavy so everything was spread over the room. With Gajeel, she wanted to make it right or at least she wanted to try.

The first attempt failed miserably. The pasta was great, incredibly good, but the sauce ... Somehow, she confused sugar with salt, let it cook way too long and added some ingredients she shouldn't have added. In the end, it was a disgusting looking brown something. Gajeel tried to help her, but she seemed to be really helpless.

Because her cooking abilities weren't the best, he wanted her to try baking. Lily demanded a kiwi cake from them and he accepted Levy to help Gajeel with it. But while Gajeel prepared the ingredients, it didn't even come so far to make a dough. She already failed task: Grab some flour from the storeroom. That sounded pretty easy, but when she went into the little room, she had a hard time to find the flour. When she finally found it, she had to stretch herself because the bag was placed on the highest place of the shelf. Somehow she reached it and ran back to Gajeel, who already seemed a bit angry because it took her so long. Before she reached even him, she destroyed the whole attempt to bake.

To her defence, she hadn't seen it coming. One edge of the little carpet that was placed under their dining table wasn't totally rolled out. So when she walked to him, she tripped over the carpet and fell. Her shriek alarmed the half dragon and he could wrap his arms around her before she fell down to the ground. Well, she couldn't say that for the bag full of flour that slipped out of her hands and fell with a boom on the ground.

The packing with flour ripped apart when it touched the ground and for a short time, everything was covered within white clouds. When the flour fell down to the ground again, she could see what happened. Everything was white, including the floor, the table, and the chairs as well as the kitchen. And her .... and of course, because she was always so lucky in the kitchen, him. She still laid in his arms and he slowly let her go, still staring with shock at his white home, probably thinking how long it would take to clean the mess she caused. His look finally caught her. She gulped nervous, remembering what he had said to her before.

"If ya leave me alone afterward, I'll do it shrimp, but if you burn our kitchen down, I can't guarantee for your safety anymore."

At least, she didn't burn the kitchen down ... maybe that wasn't a good thing to say to him. Her feet slowly began walking towards the front door and when he finally realized what just happened and frowned at her, she cried and ran as fast as she could out of the door into the woods, hearing fearfully his footsteps behind her. After a long run through the forest, she had decided to rest, maybe she had escaped him. Even the thought was naïve.
