"Nan-nandini!" It was him..
Now why was he calling me?
"What do you want now?" I spoke coldly and waited for him to say something but he didn't..
Only his shallow breathing was audible...
Was he ok? A sudden panic rushed in to me! In spite of being super angry on him I became worried..
"Manik?" I called him softly and heard his sigh...
"Ai-aik ques-tion pochon?" He spoke from the other side and I felt he was slurring...
"Are you drunk?" I asked worriedly and he shushed...
"Shhh! Just tell me! Aik question pochon?" He asked again in a damn serious tone and I frowned...
"Haan!" My voice turned into a whisper...
I was feeling so helpless...
Helpless for him! He was in pain...
"Have you ever seen a Raven overtaking a little sparrow's nest?" He asked quietly and I laid my head on the pillow listening to him carefully...
"Or have you ever seen a Shark eating a small fish?" He continued with the same painful voice and I felt his pain...

What a mystery are you?
"He was kicked by the angels and sent to the world of devils!" He slurred and I became anxious...
"He? He who Manik?" I asked trying to be as patient as possible...
"He? He who?" He himself lost it and I heard a cracking sound...
Glass! Did he just broke a glass or a bottle?
"Manik! Kahan ho ap! Am coming to get you!" I freaked out getting up with a jerk but his shout stopped me...
"Noooo! Noooo!" He shouted so horrified and I froze on my place...
"You won't come here! Shhh!" He whispered as if trying so that no one hear him. "You don't belong to this world!" He whispered again and I was on verge of frustration...
"What world Manik?" I spoke hell annoyed and he took a deep breath...
"I will tell you some other day! Abhi you sleep! Sleep sleep! Angels, fairies and innocent birds sleep in night! Devils are awake! Shhh! Don't tell anyone!" He was whispering in a damn sleepy tone or I would rather say singing and I sighed...
