Deadpool stared at both of us for a long time after we explained to him what exactly was happening. From the portal opening to Ironman to him popping up in Seth's room. We even showed him the news and I can officially say we broke Deadpool. He started twitching around, hand plastered over his gun waiting to pull it out.

"I know this is probably rough for you... and you don't have anywhere to live at the time, maybe you'd wanna come live with me until this gets sorted out?" I suggested nervously, shifting the braclet on my wrist around. A bad habit of mine. His gaze travelled over to me and his eyes were wide, probably shocked that I would even think about inviting him to even come to my house.

"Really, doll?! You'd let a mercenary live with you? You're crazy" He exclaimed walking over leisurely, tossing an arm over my shoulder before leaning down towards my ear. "Ya know what though? I like crazy." He laughed before I shoved him off me, embarrassed. Seth sent a glare that could kill towards the man and turned towards me.

"I agree with him, (Y/N). Do you have a death wish!?" Seth yelled at me, storming over and yanking me away harshly. Deadpool reached down for his gun but I gave him a look and he backed off. Seth dragged me out of the room, down the hall and to the kitchen.

"I don't know what's gotten into you, (Y/N)! That guys a murderer and he could kill you. You might look up to him but that doesn't mean you can trust him" Seth scolded me on my actions and I looked guilty at the floor.

I had figured that since he was somewhere unfamiliar to him that he would like to stick by someone he knew, but Seth is kinda right. What if Deadpool attempts to kill me? But I feel as if I really can trust him. He was the man I looked up, well one of them anyways, and I don't want him out on the streets. That would be a horrible way to treat the anti-hero. Not only would he be out fending for himself, but there were others out there who could try harming him or something of the like. Even if he does have a healing factor. I had made up my mind.

"Yes, Seth. I know he's a killer and all, but it would be rude and cruel to kick him out onto the streets. Especially when there are other out there that could cause him harm. I understand he could kill me but I trust that since I'm giving him a place to stay, he won't attempt it," I gave Seth my puppy eyes, something that I knew could get him to understand. "Please, Seth. Just trust me on this one."

I waved goodbye to Seth as Deadpool and I left his house to journey back to mine. I had persuaded him to allow the mercenary to come live with me for the time being but I had to let Seth know I was okay everyday. I had just smirked, thankful for my caring friend before crushing him in a hug and returning to Deadpool to tell him the news. Though since it was late, Seth told me that we should stay until morning but I denied it and said we were fine and Deadpool said 'If anyone tries anything, they'll become a nice shish kabob'. So here we were know, just about to my house since I didn't live that far from Seth's place.

"So what's this reality like, doll?" Deadpool questions, throwing his hands behind his head relaxed. I look up at him and see just how laid back he seems. 'I'm sure he's still cautious about this world though'. I think for a bit.

"Well, it's a lot different from what you're used to. There's no people with any types of superpowers or any magic. Basically like your world but on a more normal scale." I explain to him as we take an elevator to my floor. I live on the third story of the building, not too high and not too low.

"Sounds boring as fuck. But I know something we could do to make it interesting" He suggested, winking at me. I scoffed although my face revealed that I was embarrassed by what he was implying. He chuckled lowly and puts a hand on my shoulder. "Just messing with ya. I can tell you're still uncomfortable around and I can understand why." I could hear the humor in his voice but I also detected a slight hint of sadness.

"Yea, I mean you are a mercenary after all"I stated before I took out my key and unlocked the door. "But don't worry, I trust you enough not to kill me" I opened the door, still facing Deadpool and stepped a foot inside. Though I noticed he was no longer paying attention to me, instead his gaze was focused more on something behind me.

"Well look who it is!"
