Universal Problems (Deadpool x Reader)

Chapter 8

Currently I was in Seth's kitchen making my famous spaghetti. The boys were gonna love this, I just know it. I hummed along to the radio as I finished up the meat, draining it out and then mixing in the sauce. Finally putting everything into one pot, I hollered out that the food was ready and began setting the table. A blue streak filled my vision before the whole table was set with dishes and silverware. I blinked in surprise and gazed over at the Sokovian speedster smirking at me from one of the chairs.

"You're welcome, sweetheart." He said, voice dripping with smugness. I rolled my eyes at him as the rest of the crew piled into the dining room.

"So (Y/N)," A one Deadpool says, flinging a muscular arm over my shoulders and pulling me up against his muscled side, "how about me and you head off for some fun after dinner?" The last part was whispered into my ear, his voice taking on a husky tone. My face was immediatly red in embarrassment as I pushed him away, violently shaking my head. Everyone turned their gazes to us, eyebrows raised.

"Nah, I think she's good, DP. We already have plans for later, right sugar?" The speedster winks at me from his seat. My whole face was on fire by now. At this moment I could feel the tension within the room thickening with each passing minute.

"I think you better shut up before I pop a cap in your ass, roadrunner" Deadpool growled out, his right hand twitching over his holstered gun. I coughed loudly, placing my hand on his shoulder and gripping it tightly, hopefully pulling him out of his murdurous mood. I sent a glare towards Pietro, he just grinned back at me. Deadpool turned his attention towards me finally and I could practically see his grin through the mask. "Can't keep your hands off me, can ya? I know I'm a hot piece of ass but I didn't expect you to this forward." His joking tone of voice sent me rolling my eyes and walking off to take a seat at the table.

I sighed as I finished drying off the last dish, placing it back in the cabiney with the rest. The rest of dinner had been a mixture of both comedy and near violence. Pietro and Deadpool wouldn't stop glaring at each other the whole time, poor Thor was looking confused while attempting to keep his spaghetti on the fork long enough to reach his mouth. It got bad enough that Seth felt sorry for him and tried to help him out. Then Spiderman attempted to eat peacefully, but with the way Deadpool continued to poke at him, he ended up moving to eat in the living room. Though I don't blame him with the way everyone has been acting.

I walk through the doorway out of the kitchen and into the living room, planting myself on the couch between Seth and Spiderman. They were currently watching the news and I decided to listen in on it too.

"Superheroes and villians continue to seep through the portal as scientists struggle to figure out a solution to end this madness. There have been reports from all over the country of destruction caused by the villians and heroes alike as law enforcement attempt to control the situation. We've heard sitings of both Marvel, DC, and other comic book characters and reports still continue to pile in-"

Spiderman shuts the TV off with a sigh and relaxes his body into the couch, brushing his thigh against my own. I'm not lying when I say this dude has amazing thighs, like he could probably strangle somebody with them and that person would love every minute.

"At this rate, everyone from every universe could end up here." Spidey states, running a hand over his masked face. I look over at him with a thoughtful expression.

"Even different versions of you and the other?" I question. He pauses in his action and is quiet for a moment before he nods.

"It's a possibility"

Gosh, guys, I am soooo terribly sorry for making you all wait that. It's horribly short and I feel like I should've spent more time on it but, hey at least it's something.

I do plan on getting this story back on the road as soon as possible but the updates will not a have a set schedule. In fact, I'm not even sure when I'll have the next chapter up.
This here was just basically a filler.
