Well, hopefully congrats! Whether you were planning it or not, here you are. Knocked up ;)
It's the best thing that will happen to you and you're in for an amazing ride. The ride is pretty much like a roller coaster in every way. You know you're going to love it but you're terrified at the same time. And let's face it, you'll probably puke at some point too.
There will be someone next to you whether it's a partner, friend or family member. There will be times where it flies by, bumps that scare the crap out of you and people along the way that either make you feel better or worse about your current feelings... but the minute it's all over, you're so happy you went through with it and are beaming with pride. Even though you won't think it in the moment, you'll probably take another ride one day!
Not everyone gets to ride this roller coaster so even though it might scare you to death, remember that there are people wishing they could experience it and can't. So consider yourself lucky and enjoy the thrill.
Whether you're 18, 28, 38 or 48 I hope this story provides you with some reassurance that everything will be fine. Think about how many years people have been having babies... before there were even hospitals!!
