Whether it's scheduled or good ol'd fashioned water breaking/contractions, the day will come where you will become a mom!!!
In a few short hours (well, hopefully short) you'll be a mushy love ball holding your little one and posting pics to your social network introducing your little one.
I'm not going to bore you with the details of actual labor. The less you know, the better about that part. I already told you what you need to know which is to get the epidural!
The other thing you should probably know about (and not fear) is the episiodomy. Look that up. It doesn't hurt and actually makes a hell of a difference when everything's happening so just chill.
One thing to remember... when the birth part is over, your immediate family/friends will come to visit you. They will take pictures!
As crazy as my nurses thought I was, the minute I could stand i gave my hair a quick fluff and threw on a little makeup. It made me feel so much better and I don't hate the pictures from that day.
I know others who went all natural after birth and have some not-so cute pics. Just take the 5 minutes and do it.
Why can't we be a hero of the day AND look fabulous??
