Chillax, will ya? You're making a BABY. So stop googling everything and just embrace it. If you're anything like me, you'll enjoy the first couple of months where the only thing that grows are your boobs! I was a solid A-cup my whole life so you can imagine how happy this made me to temporarily have cleavage.

If you are NOT happy about this, the bright side is that your hair, skin and nails will become much healthier and stronger! If that doesn't make you happy, I don't know what to tell ya. Buckle up.

News flash – your body will change and you will gain weight so prepare yourself now. And then, guess what? It'll take another 9 months minimum to get your body "back".

So, take care of yourself, eat healthy and you'll be fine. Or take advantage and eat ice cream and pizza. Your choice.

Maternity pants are the BEST things you will discover. You may wonder why you've never worn a pair before! Don't get caught up in spending a ton of money on this stuff. Go to Old Navy and buy basic jeans and leggings. Their stuff is reasonably priced and fashionable. Stick to the basics – you'll be able to wear a lot of your own stuff until you're a cow. I mean, until you're 40 weeks pregnant.

That's another thing. Something many people don't know... but you're actually pregnant for 10 months, not 9. Eye opening, I know. 40 full weeks.

Don't freak out about getting your old body back.  It's totally normal to exercise during your pregnancy as long as you avoid ab workouts.  You can also run if you're already a runner.

There will be tons of time to worry about getting back into shape so for now just make sure you're seeing the doctor and avoiding drinking/smoking. For real.

There are a ton of things people will tell you NOT to do but drinking, smoking anything or doing drugs is really the most unacceptable thing.  I think a lot of other stuff can slide - which I'll talk about that later - but seriously, don't do it.
