Three: Aftermath

I honestly had no idea what to call this chapter. So I settled for that title.

Alpha Markus's Pov (surprise people):

"Any idea where the slut is Luke?" I asked my Beta and he winced when I said that. "She was less of a slut then your own mate Markus, and no. No one has been able to find any trace of her." Luke said. I wasn't really bothered that he said that about my mate. Cindy is as much as a player as I am.

"Call all of the packs and tell them that a slave got lose. Tell them that she has a debt to pay to us and she ran away because she didn't feel like it was important to pay it back." I said. "But what about her scar's Markus? People are going to be suspicious." Luke said.

"She went off into the woods, Luke, rouges and wild animals live in there. The scratches are from there. She's been without food for two weeks so that's why she looks starved. It's really simple actually." I said.

Luke looked like he wanted to say something but the look I gave him told him not to dare speak against me. "Yes Alpha." He said and he left. I smirked and relaxed in my chair. I heard a knock on my door a few minutes later. "Come in." I said.

Then a girl with a sexy outfit walked in. "Hello alpha, I was wondering if you would want to have a round?" She asked opening her shirt up. Lust covered my eyes. "Sure thing sexy, come over here." I said.

            *Skipping the rest*

Zachary's Pov:

When I told Scarlet what pack I was in, freeze. "Um, Scarlet?" I said. "Is everything okay?" I asked her. She stayed still until she fell. I caught her in my arms. "Scarlet? Scarlet wake up." I said. 'She blacked out. She would wake up if she could.' My wolf told me. 'Shut up.' I said.

I picked her up bridal style and carried her to the pack infirmary. We I walked in the pack doctor Jane spoke to me. "Hello and how may I help- *gasp* Hello Alpha. What brings you here today?" She asked. "She fainted. I just want to make sure she's okay." I said. When Jane looked down at my mate, she gasped. "What happened to her?"

"I don't know. I honestly just met her five minutes ago and she didn't tell me nor did I ask." I said and Jane nodded. "Do I have your full permission to do a through check out so I can if she has any thing wrong with her physically and or mentally?" Jane asked.

"Yes, but make sure no boys come in here and your the only one who does it, okay?" I said. "Yes Alpha Zachary, I promise." "Good I'll leave it to you then." I said as I sat down in a chair. "Um... Alpha?" Jane said. "Yes Jane." "I need you to leave the room please."

I sighed and got up leaving the room. "Thank you Alpha." Jane called. I sat down in one of the waiting chairs and got out my phone. I knew one thing that I needed to do or less she would kill me.

I dialed the number and pressed call. Then I waited and heard it ring two times before she answered. "Hello? Zachary Banks, I swear if this is not important than I-" she started to say until I cut her off. "I found my mate." I rushed out.

Then I waited in silence for her to answer. I lifted the phone off my ear and a few inches away, to be cautious. Then I heard her scream. "James, get the keys we're going to your son's house!" My mom said.

"Wait mom, now isn't a good time. She-" I tried saying until she cut me off. "I don't care what is going on Zachary, point is I want to meet her." "But mom she's-" "not another word." "She's in the infirmary." I rushed out at last.

Then there was a pause. "HOW THE HELL DID SHE GET IN THE INFIRMARY?!?" My mom screamed. "I told her what pack I was in then she just blacked out." I said. "Well I'm still coming up there." My mom said. "I think you should wait until tomorrow at least." I said.

"Why do I? I can at least see my son's mate right?" My mom said. "She blacked out when I told her the pack's name mom. I don't think I should introduce her to anyone today just in case she faints again." I said.

"Okay fine, but I want to meet her before the pack does." My mom said. "Deal." I said relieved that she finally agreed and listened to me. "Honey, what's going on?" I heard my dad ask from the background. "Your son found his mate. We're going tomorrow." My mom said to my dad.

"We'll be there at 2pm. Bye." My mom said to me and waited for her to hang up. Last time, I hanged up before she was done talking and I had a headache for a week. My mom told me to call her as soon as I found my mate. Seeing as I had to take care of my mate before calling, my mom can understand.

At least I didn't call after a month of knowing like my younger brother did. My mom still rashes out on him for that. Anyways now all I have to do is wait or her to wake up.

Scarlet's Pov:

Flashback: I was running away from the pack house. Everyone just left for a night long party and I was going to take advantage of them leaving me alone. I got about thirty feet from the pack house when I got jumped on. "Thought you could run away that easily bitch? Well you have another thing coming." Alpha Markus said. He dragged me back to the pack house and into the basement. Then he ripped my clothes off me. "I bet you wanted to find your mate huh? Well you don't have one. And to make sure that no male will ever want you, but of course who would, I'll give you a lesson that you won't forget." Alpha Markus said. He took a sliver knife and dipped it in wolves bane. Then he made a scar on the spot where my mate would mark me. I bit my tongue, trying to hold in my screams. Then he took off his pants and jammed himself into me. Final I cracked and screamed. That day I got my innocences taken away from me and got the scar of where my mate's mark would be. :Flashback over
