Six: Meeting His Parents

Zachary's Pov:

While I was hearing about Scarlet's past, I wanted to go and kill them all. But I held in my anger so she wouldn't be scared of me. Scarlet is really caring if she doesn't want me to hurt any of those people, well except Markus. I'm happy I can punch him and not have Scarlet afraid of me.

After watching Kung Fu Panda, we were just talking. Then there was a knock at my door. "Come in." I said. My Beta walked in. "You have visitors." He said. "Send them in." I said. Then my parents walked in. "Zachary! I thought you said I could met her before the pack does." My mom said.

"I haven't officially introduce her to the pack yet. At least I didn't wait until a month later." I said. "Yes and that I'm thankful for. Is this your mate?" My mom said. "Yes, Scarlet these are my parents. Mom and dad this is Scarlet." I said. "Hi." Scarlet said shyly.

"Now how did you two meet?" My mom asked while sitting down in a chair and my dad did the same. "IIIIII.....um..." I started. "In the cells." Scarlet said. We looked at her surprised. "Did you actually meet her in the cells?" My dad asked and I nodded. "Zachary Robinson! If you kidnapped or locked your mate up, so help me I will kill you!" My mom screamed.

"Mrs. Robinson, he didn't kidnap me. I was a rouge and wondered on the land. I was put into the cell by the guards and he came down and freed me as soon as he found out I was his mate. He wouldn't have locked me up." Scarlet said. "Well then, who are the guards? Once I get my hands on them-" My mom started until my dad stopped her.

"Honey calm down. The guards wouldn't have known without Zachary being their. So really for all they knew, Scarlet was a dangerous rouge. They did what was right in any other situation." My dad said.

"There is one thing I want to know." My dad said. "What is it?" I asked. "Why was Scarlet a rouge?" He asked. I was going to tell Scarlet not to answer, but then she said, "Pack issues," which I guess was true. I gave my parents a look that said 'don't push it' and they got the message.

"Well Scarlet, how about I take you shopping?" My mom said. "Oh but I don't have money?" Scarlet said. "Don't worry. Here, have my credit card." I said handing Scarlet my credit card. "No I can't take your money." She said pushing my hand away.

I then looked to my mom. "Here you go." I said handing her the card. "Zachary, I can't-" Scarlet started but my mom stopped her. "Sweetie, we have tons of money. If Zachary needs more money than I can give it to him, and since you are his mate you're going to be family. I'll get you a bank account and put some money in for you later." My mom said.

"T-that's not necessary Mrs. Robbins." Scarlet said moving her hands in a 'no' motion while shaking her head. "Yes it is. The thing that's not necessary is you calling me Mrs. Robbins. Call me Jade." My mom said. "And call me David." My dad said. "Now come on Scarlet." My mom said while grabbing her hand and leading her out the door.

"Now can I know why she was a rouge." My dad asked when they left. "It's her old pack dad. That stupid 'alpha' from the Bloody Heart Pack made her a slave and tortured he because they blamed her for her parents death. If only I have stopped it." I said and my dad put a hand on my shoulder.

"You didn't know, son." My dad said. "I don't know how I wouldn't have. I have been over to the pack house before so why couldn't I smell her?" I asked. "There is things out there to cover a were-creatures scent, they probably used that on her. Don't push her to hard on anything yet. Make sure she does eat at least twice a day, even if it's small meals. Make sure also not to have anything violent near her." My dad said.

"She made the whole pack breakfast today. She didn't wake me up and I was so worried that she left. She apologized for not making salads, salads was the thing she was worried about. She kneeled in front of me and told me it was to allow me to know where she is if anything was wrong with breakfast. Her stupid pack crushed her." I said feeling the anger return.

"Calm down, there is nothing to do now but keep her safe. Don't show her to the pack until she's ready, okay?" My dad said. "Okay, but what about the Bloody Heart Pack?" I asked. "We are at neutral terms with them right now, just keep it like that. There is no need to start a war over something in the past." My dad said.

"You realized that my mate was abused by that pack right, and you say that it's all in the past?" I said getting madder. "Trust me on this. She'll feel like it's her fault that there's a war, and she might hand herself back to that pack. Keep them at neutral terms unless they appose a threat to your mate." My dad said. "Fine, I'll trust you on this." I said.

Scarlet's Pov:

I wasn't old enough when my parents were around to go shopping with my mom so I have never experienced a mall before. Well I would think the mall was great if I just had time adjust to it all. Zachary's mom, or should I say Jade, pulled me around to all of these different stores.

She is an experienced shopper, I'll give her that. She knew where to go and what to say to people when they ask if we need help. I came back with a wardrobe of clothes against my will. Every time she bought something for me, I tried to nicely reject it. I just don't want people to buy me stuff when I don't need that much. I could have happily had old clothes from pack members.

"You didn't have to buy me all of this Mrs. Robbins." I said as we were in the car heading back to the pack house. "It's Jade dear and your my daughter-in-law. I'm going to spoil you and when it happens, my grandkids." She said and I started to blush lightly. Then she started to talk about Zachary as a little kid for the whole ride back.

Once we got back to the pack house, we started to unload everything. Zachary and his dad started to help to. Once everything was in the house, Zachary's parents left and we went to his bedroom. He had two closets so he said one was mine. "I'm sorry about all the clothes, you mom doesn't take no as an answer." I said and he laughed.

"She's like that, and plus I want to spoil you." Zachary said. "But I don't need you to spend your money on me. I'm not even an omega." I said with my head down. He lightly grabbed my chin and carefully pulled my chin up to make me look up. "I don't care what you were, what's important is what you are now and what you are to me, and to me you are amazing and don't let anyone tell you otherwise." Zachary said and I smiled.

"Thank you." I said. "Your welcome." He said. "Now time to put this stuff away." Zachary said and I sighed. "How long do you think this will take?" I asked. "I say three hours." He said. "I think four hours, thirty-seven minutes, and 27 seconds." I said. "Very precise." Zachary said and we got started.
