Leyla followed Crystal until they came to an area where there were a lot of Treehorns gathered around a boy with platinum blonde hair, green eyes and silver skin.
The boy was wearing a gray jacket over a white t-shirt, pants and combat boots. He seems to be commanding something to the Treehorns.
Leyla look alarmed at the sight of all the Treehorns. Crystal noticed and smiled reassuringly at her.
"Don't worry, Leyla." She said. "The Treehorns will not hurt anyone or anything unless they were told to."
"But, I thought Treehorns were dangerous."
"They're not dangerous anymore," Crystal chuckled. "After their queen was defeated by my father long ago, they needed someone to lead them and they willingly made my father their king. Which made my mother the queen and me and my younger brother the prince and princess."
The boy sent the Treehorns away and turned to the girls with a smile. "Exactly. I'm Frost." He said, extending a hand. "I'm your age." Leyla's eyes widen in shock.
"Mom and Dad strictly told us not to scan people, Frost." Crystal said as she glared at her brother. Frost smiled nervously while scratching the back of his head.
"Crystal and I are androids. So are our parents." Frost explained.
Leyla stared in disbelief before smiling. "Well, I'm Leyla. It's nice to meet you." She said. "And it's nice to know that the Treehorns are no longer a threat."
"Come," Crystal said as she walked over to a large tree and opened a hidden door. "My father and mother are inside."
"I'll stay here," Frost told them. "Dad told me to make sure the Treehorns don't go wild again."
The two girls went inside and down the spiral stairs. Once they reached the bottom, Leyla saw two androids talking. A man and a woman.
The man had platinum blonde hair that was combed upwards, glowing blue eyes and silver skin. He was wearing a white t-shirt with faded golden snowflakes at the bottom, pants and gray combat boots.
The woman had silver hair tied up in a rather messy bun, glowing green eyes and purple lines on her white skin. She was wearing a purple and silver blouse, purple leggings and sneakers.
"-if they find us?" The woman was saying. The man shook his head.
"I don't know." The man replied before covering his face with his hands. "I never wanted this to happen. I don't want them to get hurt. Or have.... it."
The woman removed the man's hands from his face and sighed. "They have to know. I've scanned them and Crystal's is more powerful than Frost's. You have to at least tell Crystal."
"Tell me what, Mom?" Crystal asked as she and Leyla walked up to the two androids.
The man and woman exchanged worried looks. Crystal tilted her head to the side and Leyla just stood there.
"What is it that Frost and I need to know?" The young android asked, her blue eyes showed confusion.
"Uh... we, er... um... who is your new friend?" The woman asked, ignoring the girl's question.
Crystal looked at her mother suspiciously. She was about to talk but Leyla cut her off.
"I'm Leyla. Some men dressed in black attacked my home and took my parents away. My father told me to go here." Leyla explained.
The man narrowed his eyes at Leyla. He looked at her up and down before speaking.
"Who are your parents?" He slowly asked.
"Lynnette and Lloyd Garmadon."
The man and woman both widen their eyes as silence filled the room. All you could hear was Frost shouting at the Treehorns outside.
"Father," Crystal began, breaking the silence. "Do you know them?"
The man was about to say no but the woman gave him a 'tell her the truth' look. The man sighed.
"Yes. I know them." He said. "In fact, they are your mother and I's friends. We haven't seen them since..." He paused and cleared his throat. "I mean, we haven't seen them for a long time."
Leyla can sense that he was hiding something and Crystal sensed it too.
"What are you hiding, Dad?"
The man turned to Leyla, ignoring his daughter's suspicion. "Who did you say attacked you?"
"Some men dressed in black. They had purple eyes, black hair and pale skins." Leyla replied. "They were looking for something at my house. Before I went here, I heard them talking."
"What did they say?" The woman asked curiously.
"They said something about searching for the elemental ninjas."
The woman looked at the man with a worried expression. The man had the same look on his face.
"Crystal, call your brother." The man said.
Crystal nodded and ran up the stairs. Once she was gone, Leyla looked at the two androids suspiciously.
"Does she and Frost know of their elemental powers?" She asked.
The man looked surprised. "How did you-"
"I heard the attackers talking. They said they were after my parents' elemental powers as well as their friends'." Leyla explained as serious as she can. "They were also talking about me not knowing of my 'powers'."
"You weren't supposed to hear that," the man said then noticed the sword strapped on Leyla's belt. "Did your father gave you that sword?"
Leyla nodded. "He's been teaching me how to protect myself. I never understood why though."
Leyla then looked at the man. "And I also don't understand why he never told me about my powers."
The man sighed then turned to some pictures on a table. He picked one up and handed it to Leyla. It was a picture of five boys and four girls. Leyla recognized four faces. Two of being Crystal's parents and the other two being her parents.
Leyla's eyes widened. Her parents looked so young. Her dad was wearing a green ninja gi while her mother was wearing a yellow ninja gi. Both were standing in the middle of the group.
Beside her father was a boy with auburn hair and electric blue eyes who was wearing a blue ninja gi. He was holding hands with a girl with short black hair and amber eyes who was wearing a maroon and light blue ninja gi.
Beside the two was a boy with spiky brown hair and amber eyes who was wearing a red ninja gi and a girl with fiery red hair who was wearing an orange ninja gi.
Beside Leyla's mother was a boy with black shaggy hair and chocolate brown eyes who was wearing a black ninja gi. And beside him was a girl with long brown hair and light brown eyes who was wearing a gray ninja gi.
And finally, at the end, stood the two androids. Crystal's father was wearing a white ninja gi while her mother was wearing a purple and gray dress.
"We promised each other never to tell our children about their powers, nor ours." The man told Leyla.
Leyla looked up at the man. "And never to let us kids meet each other?" She asked, to which the man nodded.
"Why we made those promises is a story not yet ready to tell." The woman said.
The man placed a hand on Leyla's shoulder and smiled. "Do not worry, Leyla. You are in good hands now."
"May I at least know your names?" Leyla asked innocently.
The man chuckled. "Of course. I am Zane Julien." He replied then gestured to the woman. "And this is my wife Pixal."
