Curiously, Frost poked his head out and looked around. The window was facing the cliff side of the mountain.

"She couldn't have gone down the mountain. She must be around here somewhere." The android whispered to himself.

He then heard shuffling on the roof, followed by a quiet sniffle. Frost immediately knew that that could only be Leyla.

Frost carefully lifted one foot onto the windowsill and then the other. After making sure his footing was secure, Frost grabbed the edge of the tiled roof and swung himself onto the roof quietly.

He looked around and saw Leyla sitting on the opposite side of the roof. He carefully walked over and sat down a few inchess from the energy descendant, who was hugging her knees with her mouth and noses buried in her folded arms.

Frost decided to stay quiet until he can think of something to say, because he didn't think that the usual 'are you okay' or 'what's wrong' questions would be applicable when his friend was crying and was obviously not okay.

"What're you doing up here?" Leyla asked, her voice cracking slightly.

Frost looked at his friend with a worried look. "The others sent me to look for you." He explained. "You were acting very... strange lately. What's... hmm... how do you say it? Chewing you?"

"It's eating. And I'm sorry if I was acting rude or anything." Leyla mumbled. "I just have a lot in my mind right now."

"Understandable," Frost nodded before tilting his head slightly to tye right. "But what is eating you? If you don't mind me asking that is."

The descendant of energy didn't reply. Instead, she held out the small box. Frost took it and studied it curiously.

"Anna gave me that before we left the Serpentine City." Leyla explained. "The symbol means life, but it means differently for me and my brother. For us, it meant hatred and anger every time we use it to sign something. So when I saw that symbol on the box, I knew that what my brother wants to tell me isn't something to be excited or happy about."

"I remember you telling me that he used to be such a jerk before he changed and left." Frost said, recalling the time Leyla told him about her brother. "What did he say?"

"Why don't you see for yourself?" Leyla said while pointing a finger at the box.

Frost looked down at the small object and eventually figured out how to activate it. The hologram of Luke showed again, the hologram casting a dim light.

"This is your brother?" Frost questioned. "He doesn't look like someone who would be a jerk."

"Looks can be deceiving, Frost." Was the emerald eyed girl's response.

"Leyla, I know you're disappointed with me right now, but I can care less." Luke said. "You may have escaped the Shadow Warriors, but I'm telling you right now that you'll never be safe from what is to come."

"Sure, you may have unlocked your powers. You may have the Elemental Descendants on your side, but I have Darkness and Shadows. Oh. And in case you're wondering where our parents are, don't fret. I have them right where I want them, along with the other Elemental Ninjas."

"Of course, three of the ninjas have managed to escape. But I could care less. You have less than two months to try and find a way to be the heroes the prophecy says you are. Because whether you like it or not, Darkness shall bring forth an old evil and finish what has been started once and for all."

"The Yin-Yang means 'life', little sister. Not hatred, nor anger, nor anything negative. It also means 'balance'. Good lies within the Bad, and Bad lies within the Good. Just like what you always say, 'looks can be deceiving'. Sometimes to do some good, you have to be the bad guy."

"I wish I could explain what's going on, but it's much more complicated than you think. The answers lies within the past, and the past lies within the minds of those who wish to forget it. Sometimes, in order for someone to save or even change the future, they must first go back to the past."

"I don't hold a grudge on anyone in Ninjago. Well.... apart from the ninjas of course, especially Mom and Dad. But if you wish to join me, I'll be happy to welcome you. Just remember what I told you. Good lies with the Bad, and Bad lies within the Good. What you see isn't always what you think, Leyla. Remember that."

With that, the hologram ended and the lid of the box closed. Frost kept on staring at the small object on his hand, processing what the older teen has said.

"Irritating, isn't he?" Leyla asked after a few moments, her green eyes stared at Frost expectantly.

The descendant of ice was silent for a moment before deciding to reply. "He is more cryptic than irritating," he said. "It seems to me that he is trying to warn you without revealing too much. He seems to be trying to tell you something."

"How are you so sure?" Leyla asked with narrowed eyes.

"Well.... first of all, I am a nindroid and I am always sure." Frost said, making Leyla roll her eyes with a slight smile. "Second, I think what he said holds a deeper meaning than what you understand. And third, he showed that he still cares for you."

"Cares for me?" Leyla scoffed. "He never cared for me! He's always acting like the 'perfect' boy he thinks he is and he's the one behind all this mess! He ordered those freaks to capture our parents just so he could 'bring back an old evil' or something!"

Frost frowned, his robotic green eyes narrowing slightly. "Are you really sure he's behind all this?" He asked. "For all we know, he could be just a pawn or is forced to say or do all those things."

Leyla didn't reply. She knew Frost was right, but she cant get rid of the feeling that there's more to things than what they seem.

Is Luke really the bad guy? If what Frost says is true and Luke really is trying to tell her something, then what? And why? Why is he doing all of this? What was his motive?

Hundreds of questions filled Leyla's mind, but she pushed it all to the back of her mind. She didn't need to think about it now. Luke said they have less than two months to stop what was coming, surely that's enough time to find a way to stop him.

"Come on, Frost." Leyla sighed as she stood up. "It's really late. We could worry about this in the morning or so. We have two months to stop him or whoever."

Frost nodded with a slight smile. He stood up and jumped down to the courtyard below with ease. Leyla did the same and the two descendants went to the shared room.

Frost poked his head through the doorway and saw that the other descendants were fast asleep. He silently went to his bunk while Leyla changed into the yellow pajamas that was on the green bed.

Frost laid down with a tired sigh. Now that he was actually laying down, he realized how tired he was, despite being a robot.

The android raised his head slightly and saw Leyla walking out of the bathroom now wearing the slightly larger yellow pajamas. She laid down and smiled at him.

Frost smiled back before letting his head hit the pillow. After a few minutes, he finally shut his eyes and allowed his systems to rest for the night in a process he knew is called sleeping.

Phew! Finally finished! I hope this chapter makes up for all the time I haven't updated anything.

I was supposed to publish this earlier, but I wasn't able to cuz there's no internet.

And to be honest, this chapter turned out longer than I intended. Well, I guess that's okay for you guys cuz you get to read more!

Also, sorry for any typos. I didn't check for any mistakes cuz it's too long. This chapter literally has 3724 words.... Well, it's 3838 if you include this whole A/N.

Anyways.... I'm not gonna make this any longer than I should. So.....

Please vote, comment and stay tuned (and patient) for Chapter 15. XD
