HYDRA squadron leader, Dr West they called him (because he handled the west side of the base), had been informed by an undercover agent that the Avengers took Soldier 0324 to their Tower, and that Soldier 0324 hadn't completed her mission. This was cause for harsh consequences; if--no, when they find her.
Dr West walked at a quick and steady pace down HYDRA's West Corridor to find Agent Q, his right hand, and inform her of the situation. He had found her and let himself into the office, closing the metal door behind him.
"Soldier 0324 has been taken into the Avengers Tower. You will be needed in tracking this girl down, and of course sending in troops to extract her. She failed her very important mission and will face punishment torture and a fall in rank." He informed her.
"Yes sir. I'll get right on it." She stood and walked passed him to go to a computer lab. He followed, along with two guards, and stood beside her at the table. She used her fingers to search through the digital files on the table's screen.
She opened the Soldier's file and it showed a brief background:
American Soldier 0324, Audrey Rolf chronological age 97, current physical age 25. Served in WWII against HYDRA/German forces. Dead aim. Location: Error.
"Find her location, now." The Doctor ordered. The lady's fingers flew all over the screen, and finally found the right button. She pressed it, it tracked the homing device implanted into each soldier's HYDRA tattoo since the one soldier, the Winter Soldier had changed sides. This had taken a huge toll on HYDRA, he was one of their best.
The screen transitioned into a map of the US and zoomed to New York, then to the Tower, finally to the room where she was. They could see her, clear as day, unconscious and lifeless on a restriction table. Along with two men in the conjoining room.
"There she is." She said, finally looking into her boss's steely eyes.
"Send a team out to get her, soon." He ordered and left.
"Yes sir." She mumbled under her breath.
During this all, the Avengers resided, unaware of the upcoming attack. They discussed what was to be done about the poor soul.
"She's one of them, she should be deserted, or shot." Natasha stated.
"Over my dead body. Come on, Nat, she's just a kid." Bucky protested.
"So what!" She said harshly.
"She's being controlled. She can't help it. She doesn't know what she's done." Steve spoke up. Bucky looked at his friend, and gave him a look of appreciation for understanding his side.
"Doesn't make it right." The red-head muttered.
"And what about you Nat? What's your body count?" Tony spoke up. The two soldiers were shocked that Tony was supporting his attacker.
"Irrelevant." The assassin said. "At least I kill the bad guys. She kills the good ones too." She protested.
"No person is just a good guy, Nat. Every person has a silver lining." Vision said, from his spot at the table.
"I think we should kill her. If HYDRA gets their hands on her, she's worse off." Wanda said, mercilessly.
"I agree." Clint said.
"I don't. That's insane. She doesn't know what she's doing or what HYDRA stands for. She's just fulfilling orders." Bruce said.
"Five to three. We win." Tony said evenly and stood from the table. Natasha rolled her eyes, she had no tolerance for the billionaire anymore.
