Jieun's POV

One word. Awkward.
My dad has been staring at Sehun for the past 15 minutes while waiting for me and my mom to set the table for dinner. And i know that sehun isn't comfortable with the situation.

"So what's your name again?"

"Sehun sir." He bow a little to my dad and my dad just nod a little.
Minute past and suddenly my dad chuckling.

"Relax son. I won't bite you or something. I just want to see your reaction." He say and pat sehun's shoulder.

"But..." my dad sound serious right now, "if you dare to hurt my daugther, then you know the consequences, young man. Even if you are my boss son." He warns sehun.

Sehun just look at me and smile gently.

"i won't hurt her, ever."

"Guys, dinner is ready!" My mom call them and we eat dinner together.

It is fun to be honest. And i'm happy that my parents seems to like Sehun a lot.

Now we all gather at the living room and my mom just show him my childhood photos! It's embarassing!

They all laugh together while i just can pout because they laugh on me.

I go to the ktichen to take some fruits and my mom follow me.

"Jieun, you should invite sehun for next week, okay? I'll invite his parents too since they will be a part of our family." My mom wiggle her eyebrows.

I blush and almost drop all the fruits i took.

"I'll ask him eomma." She smile and help me to bring the fruits to living room.
After chatting for one hour, sehun ask my dad to take a walk with me.

"Sure son, just bring her back before midnight."

"Uwaaaaa, that's a relief." He squeal and i just chuckle.

"Was it hard?" I ask him.

He nod. "Of course. I need your parents permission after all. I need to make them impress. And do you know that your father is really scary?" He frown.

"Well, at least you made it, right?" I sit on a bench and he sit beside me.

"By the way, my mom told me to invite you to my parents wedding dinner next week."

He shock. "What? They are not married couple?"

"They were. But they divorced for some reason." I sigh.

"Can you tell me?"

I start to tell him everything. About my parents divorce. About my dad's company bankrupt, about me beaten up by my dad due to his stress and about my deal with his dad.

He listen to me until i finish the story.

"I'm sorry." That's his first words after i finish talking.
He hug me. "I'm really sorry." He release the hud and stroke my hair.

I smile, knowing what he mean. "It's okay. It's in the past now."

"Actually, i'm thankful for what happened." He say.

"And why is that?"

He smile. "Because those things brought you to me."

"Even though those things never happen, i think we will still end up together." I smile to him.

"How come?"

I lean closer. "Secret." I stick my tongue out and run from him. He laugh and start chasing me.

"You will regret it if i caught you." He say in his laughter.

"Try it then." I laugh.

We run, circling the bench, until i run out of breath.

"Got you." He back hug me. I feel secure in his arm.

I turn around and look at him. Suddenly he kiss my forehead.

"I love you, Lee Jieun."

"I love you too, Oh Sehun."
