"Suspension? Sabrina I am very disappointed in you!" Lauren shouted.
"I was sick and tired of her! I was sick and tired of this whole situation!" Sabrina exclaimed.
"That was no reason to physically attack her! We'll discuss your punishment when we get home."
Sabrina felt awful. She knew this wasn't who she was, but Ally had gotten on her last nerves. Even before the situation with Brock, she had been bullied and teased by Ally. Sabrina's anger became harder and harder to contain. However, she still felt bad for what she did. She also hated that people were disappointed in her. The adults around her had always said that she was a role model, but she has let them down.
When Lauren and Sabrina arrived home, Sabrina was informed that her punishment was extra chores and no screen time for a month. She is also getting her phone taken away for two months. Sabrina didn't argue with her mom about her punishment because she knew she deserved it.
"I'm sorry, Mom for letting you down," Sabrina said in a calm manner.
"I'm just very disappointed in you, Sabrina! I expect better from you!" Lauren shouted. "I'm sorry. Give me a second to calm down. We have something scheduled for today, and it's just cruel for me to cause you to be upset before we have to go to this event."
"Where do we have to go?" Sabrina asked, curiously.
"Today is Ivory's funeral," Lauren replied.
Sabrina began to shed tears. She missed her best friend so much. She wished she had her shoulder to cry on, especially at a time like this. Sabrina went upstairs and entered her room so she would have time for herself before Ivory's funeral.
"It's time to go, Sabrina!" Lauren shouted from downstairs after Sabrina had a few hours of alone time.
Sabrina quickly wore the black dress that her mom had laid out for her on her bed. When she was done, she quickly washed her face and met up with her mom in the car.
The funeral reception was even more depressing than what Sabrina had expected. She looked around the gloomy atmosphere and saw that even Lily was there. She had a mixture of sadness and guilt in her eyes, clearly representing that she blamed herself for Ivory's death. Sabrina wished she had a caring competitor like Lily.
After the reception, Rebecca and Lance (Ivory's dad) walked up to Sabrina and told her how much she meant to Ivory.
"No matter what happened in her life, she wasn't worried because she had you. You were the sister she never had," Lance explained.
"Thank you for letting our daughter know that no matter what happened, you would help her out of any situation!" Rebecca added.
Sabrina started bursting into tears, so Lance and Rebecca gave her a warm hug, ensuring her that everything was going to work itself out. Sabrina thanked Ivory's parents for letting her know how much she meant to Ivory and set out to find her mom.
"There's no hard feelings, right?" a man was saying to Lauren when Sabrina found her.
"No, of course not! I forgive you," Lauren replied.
"Who's this?" Sabrina asked Lauren.
"This is Grayson, Ivory's uncle," Lauren explained. Lauren gave Sabrina some background information on Grayson. Before Lauren could explain why she was forgiving him for what he did, Sabrina had already given him a look of hatred.
"You ruined my life!" Sabrina shouted to Grayson. Despite her mother's attempt at persuading her to talk things out with Grayson, Sabrina ran into the car without looking back.
