Brock came over to where Sabrina was pacing back and forth. She stood up straight as she saw Brock make his way over to her.

"Congrats!" Brock said.

"Thanks! You too!" Sabrina replied. Brock gave her a bright smile, which caused Sabrina to fell warm inside. It was amazing how he could cheer her up so easily, even if he is the cause of her problem. Besides, she needed to feel cheerful. Too much stress can kill you, and thanks to Aunt Ruby, that could possibly happen.

"I can't wait for rehearsals!" Sabrina continued.

"Me too!" Brock said, nervously. Sabrina could tell that he had stage fright, and she thought it was cute how he's facing his fears to be her "Beast".

"Don't worry, Brock! You'll do great," Sabrina said, putting her hand on his shoulder. Brock didn't move, and so didn't Sabrina. They looked into each other's eyes, ignoring the world around them. Sabrina then realized that she wasn't even blinking, so she took her hand off of his shoulder.

"Uh, I h-have to go," Sabrina stuttered.

"Uh, yeah. Of course! See you tomorrow," Brock replied with embarrassment written all over his face.

"Alright, bye!" Sabrina said rapidly, making her way out of the school. She saw that her mom was already parked outside. When she went into the car, she let out a deep sigh.

"What's wrong?" Lauren asked.

"Oh, nothing! It's been a long day; that's all!" Sabrina replied.

"By the way, how did your audition go?"

"You're looking at Princess Belle!"

"Wow! I'm so proud of you, honey!"

"Thanks!"

When they arrived home, Sabrina went to her room to finish her homework. She was surprised that she finished it quickly, considering that Brock was on her mind the entire time. She double-checked her work to make sure that she was confident with her answers. Once she was done, Sabrina realized that she still had a couple of hours until her curfew, so she decided to take a walk. Sabrina made a quick stop to Spencer's house. She rang the doorbell and waited for him to answer.

"Sabrina! It's so nice to see you! How have you been?" Spencer's mom (Melody) said as she opened the door.

"I've been great! How about you?" Sabrina replied.

"I've been amazing! Spencer's not here, but I'll tell him you dropped by. I think he's still out with Ally," Melody informed.

Sabrina was shocked. She gave up her chance with Brock so Spencer could be with Ally, but now she knows he wouldn't have done the same. Sabrina couldn't believe that he would be so selfish, especially when it comes to someone who almost killed her!

"Oh, that's fine! Thanks Mrs. Melody!" Sabrina replied, trying to conceal her anger.

"Please, call me Melody! I know we haven't seen each other in a while, but there's no reason to be so formal! After all, you are my son's best friend." I don't think he feels that way, Sabrina thought.

"Thank you, Melody!"

"No problem! Good night, sweetheart!"

"Good night!"

Melody shut the door as Sabrina made her way back to her house, wondering how Spencer and Ally got together in the first place. Stop thinking about it so much! You're going to risk your health, Sabrina thought to herself.

When she walked into the house, the home phone rang. She answered it, since it was the only phone she could use. Her mother won't let her off the hook since she got suspended.

"Hello?" Sabrina said into the phone.

"I-it's," the person on the other side of the phone replied. Sabrina was confused. Who calls someone to say the word "it's"?

"Who's this?" Sabrina asked.

"U-um i-it's o--"

"Can you please talk in complete sentences?" Sabrina interrupted.

"C-can't Bri," the caller said.

"I think you have the wrong number," Sabrina replied and hanged up. Who could that be?

"Who was that?" Lauren asked, coming from upstairs.

"I don't know. What they were saying didn't make any sense."

"That's strange."

At this point, Sabrina didn't think anything was strange. She just knew that people were full of mysteries.
