Chapter 7: Suspension

Sabrina regretted ignoring everyone who warned her about staying away from Brock at that very moment. Something inside of her, though, is telling her that she doesn't want to give up on Brock. She doesn't want to die, and she's also starting to fall in love with Brock. There's just something about him that was not found in other boys.

Sabrina knew that Ally's "love" for Brock was shallow. She just liked him for his looks. However, thanks to Aunt Ruby, Ally thinks that what she feels is much more than that. Sabrina was frustrated; there was just too much on her plate.

When Sabrina arrived home, she headed straight for the shower and directly to bed, despite the questions that her parents had. At this point, she just wanted her life to start over and begin on Earth. I don't know why Earthlings think that "fairytales" are some sort of paradise or haven for all of those who are good, Sabrina thought to herself as she fell into a deep sleep.

Sabrina spent the entire weekend in her room. Lauren came upstairs and provided her food while urging Sabrina to tell her what happened during her date. Carter came in also and tried to convince Sabrina to come out of her room, but Sabrina spoke a word to neither of them.

Monday arrived and her parents still did not hear a word from Sabrina. She didn't bother on her appearance for school either. She simply wore black sweatpants and a gray hoodie, leaving the house without breakfast.

Sabrina walked into Mr. Chapman's room with her head down.

"Oh my gosh! Is she wearing sweatpants?" Ally asked one of her friends. "I can't believe Brock ever found her attractive."

"You know what? I've had enough of you Ally!" Sabrina exclaimed.

Suddenly, Sabrina threw a punch at Ally. Ally's nose started dripping with blood. The rest of the students started forming a circle around the two girls.

"Why? Are you jealous that I stole Brock from you?" Ally asked, wiping the blood from her nose and throwing another punch directly at Sabrina's eye.

Sabrina rubbed her eye and pushed Ally to the ground. As she helplessly wriggled on the floor, Ally was being punched by Sabrina repetitively. All of a sudden, Brock entered the room and saw Sabrina punching Ally. He pushed through the students witnessing the fight in awe.

"Stay away from her!" Brock shouted to Sabrina. He crouched down and pushed Sabrina away from Ally.

Sabrina remembered how he stood up for her when they were dating. In anger, Sabrina slapped Brock in the face.

"You're such a jerk! You're not even man enough to properly break up with me!" Sabrina shouted.

All of a sudden, Mr. Chapman entered the room, pushing through the students crowding the doorway.

"Sabrina. Brock. Ally. Principal's office! Now!" Mr. Chapman demanded.

Sabrina, Brock, and Ally made their way to the principal's office as gossip was spreading around about their fight like wildfire.

"I am very disappointed in all of you, especially Sabrina and Brock. Suspension for three days! All of you!" Principal Edwards declared.
