"I'm sorry about that, Grayson!" Lauren shouted as she ran after Sabrina.
"It's okay!" Grayson replied.
When Lauren finally reached the car, she saw that Sabrina was looking out of the window with an angry expression on her face.
"Sabrina--"
"How could you Mom? How could you forgive him?" Sabrina asked, slightly raising her voice.
"People make mistakes, Sabrina. They can't go back in time and change what happened, so the best thing you can do is forgive them. He was just an immature 14-year-old boy at the time, but now he's a mature adult and has recognized his mistake."
"Mom, he's the one who broke Aunt Ruby's heart! If it wasn't for his stupid mistake, Aunt Ruby would still be alive! She wouldn't be bitter like she is now, and I wouldn't have to be going through this misery!"
After she let out those last thoughts, Sabrina began to cry a river of tears. Lauren gave her a hug and rubbed her back. She began to put herself into Sabrina shoes and realized that she wouldn't have forgiven Grayson either.
"Okay, I understand. Just consider it, okay?" Lauren pleaded.
Sabrina sighed. "Okay," Sabrina replied, even though she didn't mean it. She was convinced that Grayson was evil, and it's going to take a lot for her to believe otherwise.
