Chapter 19: Catching Up

When Sabrina arrived to school the next day, she practically ran up to Brock.

"Brock! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" Sabrina shouted.

"Am I hearing you correctly? You are actually going to be my girlfriend?" Brock asked.

"I've always wanted to be your girlfriend, ever since the day I bumped into you." Sabrina's face turned bright red as she gave Brock an affectionate and passionate hug. They hugged each as if they were never going to let go.

"You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, Sabrina," Brock said, still tightly embracing Sabrina. Sabrina started to cry tears of joy.

"I feel the exact same way! I love you, Brock!"

"I love you more, Sabrina!"

The bell began to ring and Sabrina and Brock slowly separated from their hug, still wanting it to last.

"Can we meet up after school? It doesn't have to be a date; it can simply be a way for us to catch up. We can just walk around the beach and have a long conversation," Sabrina suggested.

"Of course, love!" Brock replied. Sabrina's heart began to melt. Just hearing those words made her feel special and ecstatic. Sabrina didn't know what she did to deserve Brock, but she was more than grateful to have him in her life.

When Sabrina and Brock walked into class, they saw that Spencer and Ally were in a good mood.

"What's up with you guys?" Brock asked Spencer and Ally.

"I am the Beast's understudy and Ally is Belle's!" Spencer exclaimed.

"Wow! I am very happy for you two!" Brock replied. Sabrina felt happy for Spencer, but she felt like he deserved someone better than Ally.

"Thanks! I am happy for you and Sabrina too," Ally replied. Is she being nice too me? Sabrina thought.

"Thanks," Sabrina said dubiously.

"Sabrina, I've been treating you unfairly for a while, and I'll like to explain myself and ask you for forgiveness. Do you want to drop off at my house this afternoon so we could talk?" Ally suggested.

Wow! True love really changed her. Sabrina concluded.

"I can't this afternoon, but what about tomorrow afternoon?" Sabrina asked.

"Sure! I'll be available," Ally agreed.

Sabrina had to admit to herself, it was nice to know that Ally wanted to start over. She was tired of their rivalry. It was a relief to know that it was finally about to come to an end.

After school, Brock met up with Sabrina at the beach as promised.

"Hey, Brock!" Sabrina greeted.

"Hey, beautiful!" Brock responded. Isn't he the cutest? Sabrina thought.

Brock slowly grasped Sabrina's hand, and she immediately felt at ease.

"I honestly do not know why I was torn between you and Ally. I'm so sorry for breaking your heart!" Brock began.

"It wasn't your fault," Sabrina answered.

"Who's fault is it, then?"

"Aunt Ruby's."

"Who's Aunt Ruby?"

"My charm bracelet glowed for your in the beginning, but my dead aunt's ghost came to haunt me. She used her power to confuse you because she thought I'll get my heartbroken like she did when she was fourteen. She actually stopped looking for her charms because of that heartbreak. Now that she's in Heaven, we can finally be together!"

"Wow!"

"Yah, I've been through a lot, but I don't blame you. I kept fighting for you because I knew you are worth it. I actually 'went out' with Spencer just to make you jealous."

"Mission accomplished!"

Sabrina and Brock began to giggle. The sound of their laughs together made a perfect harmony. It's like they were made for each other.

"How did your aunt's ghost make it into Heaven?" Brock asked.

"I had a best friend named Ivory. We were friends ever since I was born. Unfortunately, she died on her birthday, which is also mine, because she didn't find her Love charm in time. I went to her funereal, and it turns out, her uncle is the one who broke my aunt's heart. He said he'll find a way to make it up to me for complicating my life, so he went to talk to the Ultrakeepers for help. They told him to apologize to Aunt Ruby's spirit, so he did. Now, she's in peace; it was her unrest that kept her in Charmania."

"I'm glad that we are together now, but I'm really sorry about the loss of your aunt and your friend."

"It's okay because I know that they're in a better place now."

After she said those words, Brock's facial expression changed. Sabrina could tell that he was hiding something that was clearly making him upset.

"What's wrong, Brock? You know you can tell me anything," Sabrina said.

"I just don't want to loose you!"

"I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere! I'm always going to stay by your side."

"You can't, and I can't do the same for you."

"Why not?"

"I need to go back home."

"What does that have to do with us?"

"I don't mean my house here. I mean my real home: Earth."
