Winter Break

Jordan's POV
It was now the middle of December and School is almost out for Christmas and New Years. Demi and I have been having sleep overs almost every night. It's made our relationship stronger. I can now say that I fully trust her with my life. I was in Science the last class of the day and I was finishing up my Final. I had about 7 questions left. My fellow classmates were getting anxious. Man don't you just hate it when you're the last person taking the test. I can almost feel all eyes on me. Finally I'm finished and went to put my test up front. I heard clapping and I rolled my eyes as the bell rang. I sighed Freedom. Two weeks of no stress and no worries. Well except for the first week. Lacey was coming home for her break as well and we decided that midway through the week go up to New York and look for some clues proving that Demi is innocent and be back in time for Christmas. I drove back to my house and saw my sister's silver car in the driveway. I quickly ran out of my car and into the house to see Lacey watching some random ass TV show while eating my bag of hot Cheetos. "Hey those are mine!" I say tackling her. "Damn it's like I never left." She says laughing as she place the Cheetos down and gives me a hug. "How've you been dude I missed you!" She says "I missed you too Lazy Lacey!" I say using her nickname I gave her when I was 12. "I thought I told you to stop calling me that!" She says "You did I just didn't listen" I say sticking my tongue out at her. She rolls her eyes "Whatever can we go get Demi now? I really want to see her!!!" She says "Whoa slow your roll dude why don't you just go and smell the clothes of yours that she wore" I say "Wait she wore some of my clothes!!" She says I nod as she ran upstairs. "Weirdo" I say laughing to myself as I went to hide the rest of my Cheetos. Two hours have passed and now it was time to go pick up Demi. Lacey could barely focus on her way to the station. "Dude chill if you freak out on her she might well let's just say the beast might come out" I say "Like I really need to be afraid of my idol?" She asks sarcastically. "Um you kinda do. Listen just try not to overwhelm her okay?" I say "Don't worry Jordan! I'll be chill." She says I rolled my eyes at my sister as I went into the station. Demi and Officer James were waiting for me by the door as usual. "Alright Jordan take care of this one" Officer James says since I had convinced him to let Demi stay with me until Lacey and I fly to New York. "Yes sir!" I say saluting him as he walks away chuckling. "So I'm meeting your sister today then?" Demi asks. "Yea and fair warning she may freak out once you get in the car." I say "Oh boy here we go again." She says as I chuckle. "You know you just referenced one of your own songs right?" I say "Someone did their research" Demi says as I get into the backseat and let go in the front. "Holy fucking shit! You're Demi fucking Lovato!! You're hotter in person! Holy fuck there I go saying something stupid! Way to go Lacey way to go!" I laugh at my sister's rant. "You done now?" I ask she nods taking a few deep breaths. "Okay then Lacey this is your idol Demi,Demi this person who thinks you're hot as hell is my sister Lacey." I say as I feel Lacey punch me. "It's nice to meet you Lacey" Demi says holding out her hand. "You too Demi. Thanks for taking care of that while I'm gone." Lacey says pointing at me. "Hurtful!" I say acting offended. "It's not a problem" Demi says. We drove back home and I basically explain what Lacey and I are planning on doing in New York. "So you're planning on going to the venue and looking at security tapes?" She asks as we all sit on the couch. We both nod. "How the hell are you guys gonna do that?! That place is bound to be guarded!" Demi says "That's why we are going at Midnight. Lacey knows how to pick at locks. So basically all we have to do is find the security footage from that night and then boom we file a court case against Wilmer with both Lacey and I being your witnesses and then you're out of that hell hole for good!" I explain. "Damn you guys have this all figured out don't you?" Demi says "Yup! I've even got a buddy of mine who's in Law School right now to be your lawyer." Lacey says "Thanks guys for doing this it really means a lot." Demi says smiling. "It's no problem Dems. Anything to prove that you're innocent." I say "Alright so what now?" Lacey asks I smirk "how about a game of Truth or Dare?" I ask "If you really want to kiss me again that badly you could always just ask you know?" Demi say as I smack her playfully "Wait you did what?" Lacey says "We were playing Truth or Dare. She dared me to kiss her then I did it. And boom here we are now" I say "Still haven't put a ring on it!" Demi says laughing as I roll my eyes. "You kissed Demetria Devonne Fucking Lovato and you didn't tell me about it! You little fucker!" Lacey says "And this is the part where I run" I say to Demi as I run upstairs to my room locking the door and holding the door closed. "Jordan Blake Jones you open this door right now!" Lacey says trying to push her way in. "Okay it's official I'm calling you JB from now on!" Demi says "Seriously! Please Don't Demi! And if you promise that you won't kill me then I'll open the door. Lacey Michelle Jones!" I say as she runs at the door with so much force that it cause me to fall on the floor. She gets on top of me and starts to tickle me. "Lacey stop!" I say "Say I'm the best sister ever and no one can replace me!" She says "You're the best sister ever and no one can replace you. Except maybe Demi" I say as she lets me go punching me in the arm. "Alright I'm in the mood for some ice cream! Who's in?" I say "Ice cream!" Lacey and Demi both say like 5 year olds. "Let's go then!" I say "Last one to the car has to ride in the back!" Lacey says grabbing my keys to her old car. Demi bolts for the car as I roll my eyes. This week is definitely going to be awesome. And one that I won't forget.
