Three little words

Jordan's POV
(A/N: So it's the same day as the previous chapter. Just saying cause I don't want you guys to be confused lol)
Finally! The hour has arrived. Today I'm taking Demi to one of my favorite spots in town. It's an old park that Lacey and I used to go to all the time. Some of my best memories are there with her so I hope to make some new ones with Demi as well. "Yo wassup Officer James!" I say giving him a high five "Hey Jordan! Right on time as usual." He says smiling "Yea oh and I'm taking her out today." I say "Alright but you know the rules." He says "Yea yea. No alcohol,No weapons,No smoking,and have her back by curfew" I say "Alright then let's go". He says as he leads me to the visitation room. "Kid!!!" I hear Demi yell smiling "Demi!!!" I yell back mimicking her. As we ran into eachothers arms. "It's been like a day I swear you two act like you haven't seen eachother in years." Officer James says "Well it feels like years being locked up." Demi says "Alright take care of her Jordan" Officer James says "Yes sir!" I say saluting him as we walk out to my car. "So where are we going today kid?" Demi asks "You'll see!" I say "Ugh! Kiiiiiiddd!!! You know I hate suprised!" She whines while I just chuckle While getting out of the parking lot. After 10 minutes of singing to songs on the radio at the top of our lungs we finally made it to thee park. I parked the car in the lot of the park. "Whoa this is cool!" Demi says as we get out of the car. It was around 5 in the afternoon but it looked like it was 7 cause the sun was setting. "Yea. Race ya to the swings!" I say getting a head start "Hey cheater!" She says running after me. I of course won. We sat on the swings and talked about random things. "Hey so how's school going?" Demi asks after we had just finished our conversation on Aliens and conspiracy theories. "It's alright. It's mostly boring since all my friends graduated last year." I say "Damn that must suck" she says "Yea it does. But friends come and go." I say sighing as I swung back and forth. "Hey I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me babe." She says I smile "Yea I know. I'm just so afraid of getting too close because as soon as I let people in they leave." I say she nods "I get it kid. I was scared of letting you in too. I've been let down so many times before and I just don't want to loose anyone ever again." She says I looked over at her and it felt like someone finally understood me. After a few more minutes we decided to play a quick game of Truth or Dare which I started. "Okay kid your turn Truth or Dare?" She says I didn't hesitate "Dare!" I say I told her from the start that I never turn down a dare. So far I've had to jump off a real high play set,Licked a telephone pole and ask a really hot girl for their phone number and almost got beat up in the process because it turns out she had a girlfriend. "Alright hot shot I dare you to....kiss me" She says my eyes widened "Wait what?!?" I say "You heard me. Cmon it's just a kiss" She says a dare was a dare. So I leaned in and kissed her but it only lasted for a second and I felt nothing. "Whoa didn't think you'd actually do it kid." She says "Like I said I never turn down a dare." I say "Well your future boyfriend is one lucky man." She says "Um actually Girlfriend. I'm a lesbian." I say wow that's the second time I've come out to someone. "Whoa kid sorry I didn't know" She says "It's cool Dem no worries" I say "How'd your family handle the news." She asks "Lacey accepts me and as for my parents they are never even home so it's not like they'll notice a difference." I say shrugging my shoulders. "I'm sure they care you know." Demi says "If they cared then why don't they spend more time with me!" I say she flinched. "Sorry I lost it. My anger gets the best of me sometimes" I say "Hey don't worry kid come lets go look at the stars." She suggests I nod we both got off the swings and layed on the grass side by side. "Hey look it's the Big Dipper" Demi says pointing to it. "And there's the Little Dipper" I say pointing at the constellation. She smiles and I smile "Demi can I ask you something?" I ask "Sure kid" she says "Don't laugh okay" I say " I won't" she says "What would you say if I told you that I planned on spending my winter break trying to find evidence proving your innocent?" I say "I'd say you're insane kid! Wilmer hid his tracks so well that there's no way that you'd be able to find evidence." Demi says "Demi do you know who you're talking to. I'm the master at finding clues. I kinda want to be like a detective when I get out of High school." I say "You really think you can get me out that hell?" She asks "I know I can" I say "Alright kid. Just don't get your hopes up" she says I nod. "You know something kid. You're the first person since I've been in that hell hole to actually break my walls down I actually feel like how I felt when I was checked out of rehab. And I'm about to say the three words that I only tell people who mean the absolute world to me. I haven't told anyone these words since I was put into jail. Jordan,I love you and not in like a romantic way but in a best friend/Sister way" she says "I love you too Demi" I say she smiles we spent the rest of our time together cuddled up under the stars. I sighed as I pulled up to the jail. "I really wish this night didn't have to end." I say "I know me too kid but hey I'll see you tomorrow." She says ruffling my hair. She gets out of my car "love you Dems!" I yell at her "Love ya to kid!" She yells back as she goes into the station. I drove back home and entered the empty house. I walked up the stairs and took a quick shower. I then got in my bed and closed my eyes just hoping i wouldn't have a nightmare. Not tonight. And for once I think the universe heard me. I fell asleep with a smile on my face and a new memory with Demi still fresh in my mind.
