"Mi-Mi....? Mimi!!"

Naomi awoke with a start, her face pale and flushed with sweat as she stared around the room with startled eyes. The first thing she saw, was the worried fave of Mabel. "What happened...?"
"Angel said that you fainted!!"
"I fainted...? Is that why my head hurts...?"

Angel looked up for her spot in the hair beside her, "Yeah, I'm sorry to say but that is the exact reason why you're head hurts. You hit the floor pretty hard, it seems as though you suffered from a mild concussion. You were also hallucinating in your sleep, talking about how confused you were...as if you were talking to someone..."

Ellie nods in agreement, "King Komali claims that you were talking to a demon of your own, but that isn't possible. You don't have any demons, Naomi!"
Angelus shook her head, "What matters the most now is that she is awake and well. I suggest we let her get some rest. She's going to have a big few days ahead of her. We will need to fit her for armour, as well as teach her how to use a weapon and train her, before she heads off to battle..."

With that, the winged woman took the hands of both children and left the room, leaving Komali and Naomi alone. The leader looked at the young girl and gave her a soft smile, "My dear, that was quite an event you battled with, inside your head wasn't it? You are special. I have no doubt that you can win whatever battles you face." He smiles, placing a feathered hand on her forehead.

Naomi sighs softly, "You claim that I am the child of the prophecy. The solution to your problem, but what if I'm not! What if I'm just a fraud, what will you do then...?"
"If you are a fraud, then you continue your journey elsewhere. But do not fret child, you will have Angelus to guide you. She has faced much hardship, just like I judge that you have. My dear Naomi, you must believe in her abilities. You must learn to trust her..."

Naomi gave a curt nod, having no more to say the large male in front of her.

"Well then, I must be off. As King, I have duties to attend to. You must rest now, and Angelus will be back later on to check on you. Farewell, young one!"

As the door to the hospital room closed, Naomi lay her head back down on her pillow. Thoughts raced through her mind like racing greyhounds, not stopping to even let her ponder one in particular. She must admit, that was an awfully nice speech, but she just wasn't feeling it yet. She felt as though she....couldn't do it.

"That child is reckless, I tell you..."
"She's not unlike you, you know!"
"All of those years we spent raising them, I believe those years have come to an end, Marlene...."
"They've sprouted their wings, and they're flying away. I knew the day would come, when that maid and that soldier would come to collect them."

The plump woman turned to her husband with a smile on her cherry red cheeks, "Not to worry, love, I'm sure they'll be alright. They will return to us one day..."

The raven haired male looked up from his paper, staring into the Ivory eyes of his wife. "We spent four years with those girls, giving them the memories they would never have. If that bloody Ganondorf hadn't brought them to us, I don't know where we would be right now. They were our lives."

"Oh Ronan...Its not our place to say. Me being infertile, I'm blessed to have them here, but I do truly believe that they will be happier when they find the people who were stolen from their lives so long ago, starting with Toba and Selie...."

"...Yeah....I suppose you're right...."

Link groaned, sitting down in his chair with a thud. His finger caressed his temple softly as he bit his lip in annoyance. His eyes were lined with bags of exhaustion, having pulled so many over nighters and not sleeping well at all. His muscles ached from the amount of effort he put into his swings of the sword. But now was not the time to focus on that. He was going to be able to eat dinner with his beautiful queen and his son....

"Daddy!!"
The male turned to face his son with a grin on his face, getting up from his chair as if he wasn't sore at all. Maes ran into his fathers arms, his mother smiling at them from the doorway. "Daddy!! Mummy told me something today!!!"
"She did, huh? What did she tell you?"
"About my big sisters!!"

Link seemed to stop in his track, putting his son down before giving him a weary smile. "Hey Maes, Daddy needs to talk to Mummy for a bit, alright? Why don't you go and play with the nurses for a bit alright?"
"Yeahhh but Miss Selie isn't here, daddy..."
"That's right...Well how about Miss Hermione? She's always fun!"
Maes grinned and nodded, running off, "Okay!!"

Link straightened himself up, now walking over to his wife with a weary smile again. His blue eyes seemed to shine with a sad kind of happy.
His wife returned the gesture, "I'm sorry. Did you want me to tell him?"
"It's fine...He deserves to know. It will give him hope for the future as well..."

Suddenly, the Kings eyes began to well up with tears as he thought back to the three empty spaces at the dinner table. He looked down to spare his queen the mercy of seeing him so weak, "S-Sorry...I-I Just...."

Zelda sighed and shook her head, tears beginning to slip from her own eyes as she brought him in for a tight hug, which he gladly returned. She could utter no words of comfort to him, just a few simple ones to make up for the empty air she breathed...

"I know...I miss them too."
