Ellie looked at the pair of them, a horrendously mortified expression on her face. Her lilac eyes looked hazy and glazed over slightly, but the shock and disgust was most definitely evident on the eleven year olds face.
Selie was the first of the 'couple' to say anything of the situation. "I-It's not what looks like!! Honest!!"
"She saw us naked in a lake together....and thats all you can say!!!"
"Well, I'm sorry I'm not good with words!!"
Ellie groaned, rubbing her forehead. "How about you both just get dressed and let me get a drink!!"
Selie blushed, "W-Would you mind turning around dear?" The blonde maid slowlt emerged from the water as the young girl spun around. Toba followed the same rules once again, the both of them getting dressed.
However, his ears pricked up, now suddenly extremely alert. The rustling of the bushes was putting him on edge.
"Toba?? W-What is it??" Selie asked, moving closer to the bushes. As if on instinct, Toba's arm flew out and held her back, "stay low..."
"No, let me see--"
"I SAID STAY LOW, SELIE!!"
"Toba...."
"Obey my orders! It is my job to protect you!! I can't just sit around and watch you get hurt if its an enemy behind there!! I vowed to you and your family that i would protect long before any of this happened!! I told them I'd never let a scratch on you!! And i intend to keep it that way!!! You go no closer to that bush, you hear me!?"
Everything seemed to go silent after that. In the midst of his rant, he'd pushed Selie behind him and thrown his dagger, wedging it into the grass.
"T-Toba....I-I'm sorry....I don't remember such a promise being made in my lifetime...."
Toba seemed disappointed, "Of course you wouldn't.....not since...."
"Oooh~ Was that a love rant???"
The knight looked at Ellie, as if wanting to murder her. Ellies hands flew up in defence, "It wasn't me!! It was them!!" She pointed to the bushes, where her sisters emerged, looking at them in shock.
"Toba....Selie....You're here?"

Selie looked at the siblings in shock, "What're you all doing here??"
Mabel giggled, dragging the majestic sword over, "We came to return your sword, Mr Toba!!"
Toba froze on the spot, whereas Selie had a totally different reaction.
"Toba!! Do you know what this means?! They've qualified for the test!!"
Naomi raised an eyebrow, "Test??"
"Years ago, their highnesses set the knights and maids to a task. Now that Toba and I have reached the top, it's our duty. Story tells of the hearts generous enough to return the sword to the knight! You girls returned it!! You're one step closer to helping us find the missing heirs!!"
".......You drank salt water, didn't you?"
