Hermione's POV
"They were helping Tumnus and the Witch got here before I did. OW!" Fox says.
We were all crowded around the camp fire and talking while Mrs.Beaver was tending to Mr.Fox's wound.
"Are you alright?" I ask. I've never liked to see people or animals get hurt. Trust me if you were me you'd feel guilty since Mr.Fox got hurt because he was helping us.
" Well, I wish I could say their bark was worse than their bite...ohhh!" Mr.Fox says wincing.
" Stop squirming! You're worse than beaver on bath day" Mrs.Beaver scolds.
"Worst day of the year"Mr.Beaver says in a matter of fact tone. Now that made me lose my appetite.
"Thank you for your kindness but I'm afraid that is all the cure I have time for" Mr.Fox says getting up.
"You're leaving?" Lucy asks suprised. I mean who'd leave that early when they were hurt AND when they lied to the secret police who were a bunch of wolves.
"It has been a pleasure, my Queen, and an honor. But, time is short and Aslan himself has sent me to gather more troops"
ASLAN!!! He's seen Aslan. Wait, why am I getting excited I just found out about him.
"You've seen Aslan?!"
"What's he like?" Mrs.Beaver asked.
"Like everything we have ever heard. You'll be glad to have him by your side in the battle against the Witch" Why did Mr.Fox had to say that. It seems as if he's talking about me. I'm a WITCH.
"We are not planning fighting any witch..."Susan says looking at me. I shot her a grateful look. Someone that remembered that I was a witch.
" But, surely, King Peter...the prophecy" Mr.Fox asked with a pleading look in his eyes but his voice was completely calm.
"We can't go to war without you" Mr.Beaver says uncertainly.
"We just want to get our brother back"Peter says determinedly.
