It's funny how one moment can change everything, like how with Rosie that one moment in the car means that she's broken her leg and will be in a wheelchair for anything from 6-8 weeks to 3-6 months depending on how bad the breakage actually is and how it heals. A current concern from the doctors is that the bone won't heal straight resulting in surgery and more time in a wheelchair. Only time would tell...

Rosie's getting hungry, and as much as she likes having the doctors wait on her every need, she needs to do something for herself. Sadly, that doesn't quite involve getting from her bed to the wheelchair which was neatly placed at the end of the bed. So with the help of a nurse, she goes from the bed to the wheelchair, only missing the use of both of her legs once or twice in the process. She politely thanks the nurse before she leaves the room, leaving Rosie to try and deal with moving about in the wheelchair by herself.

At first she finds it extremely difficult to move herself around the room, her arms getting tired of moving the wheels forward only minutes after she tries to move herself around. This was going to be more exhausting that she'd originally thought. Gradually, she gets the hang of it and feels confident enough to leave the comfort of her room and try to navigate her way around the hospital on her own.

Moments after leaving the room, when she was about to turn a corner someone walks into the front of the wheelchair resulting in them spelling the hot drink they have in their hands down their own shirt. The hot liquid burning the males chest through the thin top he's wearing. Mumbling 'shit' under his breath, he looks up from his own shirt to be greeted by Rosie who also looks to be in pain. Instantly, guilt washes over him for walking into someone in a wheelchair, a feeling of stupidity bubbling inside him for not looking where he's going.

"Are you okay? Did I spill some tea on you too? I'm sorry, I should have been looking where I was going rather than tweeting, it's just I was in the middle of—" The male babbles before Rosie cuts him off.

"I'm fine, don't worry, you didn't get any tea on me, you just, you walked into my leg..." She replies with a pained smile, gesturing to her leg which was in a pot with her toes showing out the end. Weirdly, Rosie is filled with slight embarrassment for the fact her toes aren't painted and her foot looks a mess. She isn't exactly sure why she feels like this though, I mean it's not like she cares what the stranger thinks, right? Wrong. She does care, just a little.

"Oh, okay, well I'm sorry again for walking into you. I'll just go, just uh- yeah, sorry..." The male says with a tight apologetic smile across his face before he begins to walk away, but before he has the chance, Rosie stops him in his tracks with a question.

"I'm Rosie, what's your name stranger?"
"George."
"Well it's nice to meet you, or should I say be walked into by you?" Rosie teases, a flirty smile crossing her face. She realises now probably wasn't the time to be flirting with someone, but what was the harm in doing so? A little bit of fun never hurt anyone.
"Nice to walk into you too." He replies, his smile coping the one you could see on Rosie's face. "I would honestly love to stay and chat, but my friend, Blake, was involved in a car accident and I said I'd get tea and I really need to get back to him. But really, it was nice to meet you. I hope to see you around here again."
"Well I'm not exactly going anywhere anytime soon." Rosie replies gesturing to her leg again. "But yes, it would be nice to see you around again... I hope your friends okay by the way."
"Thanks." Is the last thing George says before walking past Rosie to go back to his friend.
----
After waiting 20 minutes for George to come back with his tea, Blake gets impatient and decides that despite the pain he is currently feeling and the fact his arm is in a pot, he would go get himself a cup of tea. When the doctors had told him he'd broken a couple of ribs, he thought they were all lying, but standing up he feels the sharp pain shoot across his chest. Taking a deep breath, which is extremely painful, he knows it is too late to back out now and steadies himself while standing up before taking his first step. Walking to the cafeteria is painful, especially because he doesn't know where it is. Every step is a guessing game and honestly he is just hoping his legs would take him to the destination he desired, if not, he is probably going to end up in some random girls room.
